  If you’re looking for a place to stay in San Antonio, you’ve found it. We stayed at Hotel Indigo for five nights (Sunday through Friday), and it exceeded every expectation. The hotel is clean, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and truly feels like one of the River Walk’s hidden gems. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to so much, including the River Walk restaurants and bars, the Convention Center, Hopscotch, the Alamo, and even The Pearl. We hardly needed a Lyft the entire trip, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff - especially Lori and Chastity. They are absolute rockstars. Every question we had, every recommendation we needed, and every time we looked a little lost, they were there with a smile, great advice, and genuine kindness. They made the hotel feel less like a place we were staying and more like a home away from home. Their personalities and hospitality are exactly what every hotel hopes to offer but rarely does. A beautiful property is important, but it’s people like Lori and Chastity who turn a great hotel into an unforgettable experience. Thank you for making our trip one we’ll never forget. You definitely earned a couple of loyal guests from South Dakota, we’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in San Antonio!

  I am sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision before booking a stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, my stay was extremely disappointing. As someone with a cat allergy, I was never informed that the hotel has a resident pet cat on the property. During my stay, the cat frequently lounged around the pool area, the inside comon area, food eating/resturant area, and I observed cat hair on the outdoor patio furniture, making it difficult for me to comfortably enjoy the amenities. What has been even more frustrating is the lack of customer service after my stay. I attempted to formally submit a complaint and was assured that someone would contact me. It has now been three weeks, and I have not received a single return call. Since then, I have called approximately five times and continue to receive the same response—that someone will get back to me. Unfortunately, no one has returned my calls or responded to my text messages. I understand that hotels may choose to be pet-friendly, but guests should be made aware of animals on the property, especially when allergies may be a concern. Equally important is responding to guest concerns in a timely and professional manner. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the lack of transparency and poor follow-up regarding customer complaints.

  I recently stayed on Monday for the spurs game. When I walked in the environment was very inviting and spacious. The check in process was so smooth and seamless. Alicia at the front desk was friendly and made things easy. She also gave some good recommendations for things to do before and after the game. The rooms were very comfortable and I especially enjoyed the views of downtown San Antonio from my window. The drinks at the hotel bar were good and convenient when I wanted a drink without going anywhere. I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a great place to stay in San Antonio.

  Decided on this hotel for our date night. Lovely little find on the Riverwalk. Nice, clean and quiet. The restaurant in the hotel was great for drinks and apps. Rooms were a great size for 2 people. Would stay again.

  The evening crew was less helpful and a bit sarcastic. Arianna during the day however, was pleasant and professional. I like the location a lot, with it off the main strip it wasn't as loud as the other places seemed to be. I found the rooms and amenities satisfactory. We came during the playoffs, and there was a basketball hoop in the lobby! My young son adored this!! 😊 We had fun, but watch your bar bill, I was excessively charged, but since I caught right away, it was fixed on the spot.
