Devesh Kumar3 months agoA Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Little India! I recently had a wonderful stay at The Serangoon House, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Singapore. The location is absolutely top-notch—situated right in the vibrant heart of Little India. It’s incredibly convenient, with a metro station just a short walk away, which makes exploring the rest of the city a breeze. Step outside, and you immediately have easy access to an amazing array of local restaurants and shops. You don't even have to leave the hotel to find a great meal. The hotel's restaurant, located down in the basement, offers a surprisingly wide variety of delicious food. Their breakfast is truly excellent and provides the perfect start to a busy day of sightseeing. The room itself was comfortable and cleverly designed. The bunk beds were an absolutely brilliant feature, making the setup exceptionally practical and a massive hit with the kids. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The staff's behavior was exemplary—always welcoming, professional, and smiling. Every request was met with prompt service, making the entire experience feel seamless and well-cared for. I would absolutely stay here again! Especial thanks to Mr. Prabakaran for making our stay pleasant.

Vachan B Hindiskere2 months agoVery enjoyable experience with the staff being immensely hospitable. Where they lack in a bit of room size they make up in every other manner. Never felt a tad bit uncomfortable in my stay and it's location was very good to travel around the city. Shout out to Prabha, Kamala and all the other staff for giving us such a homely experience!
Lisa Mizan6 months agoInteresting if you’re wanting a unique experience for a bite. The interiors are Indian heritage and have a charm to them. Service is alright, my only thing I had a horrible experience with is their breakfast. If you enjoy your breakfast as much as I do I wouldn’t stay here, the portions are smal, the pastries/bread stale, and nothing has spice to it which is ironic since this is an Indian styled hotel.
Pradip VS8 months agoThe rooms were very compact yet comfortable for a family of 4 where kids can sleep in bunker beds safely and comfortably. Serangoon house is located at the heart of Little India with Farrer Park station very close to it and a lot of good Indian restaurants within 100 meters. The hotel staff were courteous and ensured an early check-in as well as managed our luggage when we were out for Indonesia for a couple of days before coming back to Singapore again. I would like to give a big kudos to Jaya, Kamala for their hospitality and making our stay comfortable. Will definitely recommend and stay in future trips. One feedback I will give is that they can make different menus for breakfast instead of the same menu everyday, which is kinda boring.
