Jenny2 weeks agoI’ve been staying at the Maverick since April for an extended stay, and it has truly been a great experience. The entire team is welcoming, professional, and always goes out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of. A special thank you to the housekeepers, Todd, Jared, Alyssa, Pedro, and all of the concierge staff. They have been incredibly attentive, responsive, and kind throughout my stay. Their consistency and genuine care have made a big difference and made my time here very comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend the Maverick to anyone looking for an extended stay. If you want a place where you feel valued and well taken care of, this is definitely it.
Joel Wiggina month agoReally cool place to stay in downtown SA. It has a very cool vibe with a clean, classy apartments and even has a comedy club in the basement. Lots of great places to eat nearby and located in historic downtown just a block from the Alamo. The downside is parking. Because of the location you need to pay to park. I reccomend the Houston Street garage as the cheapest place. The Maverick entrance is also hidden on the side of the building and can be difficult to locate at first. The main reason for not giving five stars all around was that one evening the hot water went out. The hotel notified me via text and said they were working on it. I figured I would just take a shower in the morning, but when I woke up there was still no hot water. It did get fixed eventually, but even one cold shower when you are paying to stay somewhere is a cold shower too many. The area seemed pretty safe and vibrant. Get breakfast at the Paris Baguette. You won't regret it.
Lisa Enriquez3 months agoAll front desk staff and doormen were amazing. They all provided top notch service. Jordin was the first to welcome us to the hotel and though we’re early he offered to store our bags and provided some recommendations. Upon our return he checked us in quickly and ensured we had everything we needed. Staff stored our bags until our flight allowing us a little more time in San Antonio. This place is centrally located to the River Walk, Market Square and Hemisphere Park. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to San Antonio!!!

Walking distance to Parking Garage (If You Don't Valet-Free If your disabled and come and go each day), Riverwalk, various Restaurants and Theaters. Room was more than adequate size (Very Comfortable), had nice size fridge, Keurig, Cooktop, sink and all eating items/utensils. Front Receptionist was professional and very informative! Felt Safe and was Very Secure! Will Definitely stay again!!
Amber Wagner3 months agoI was here for work and this place was absolutely amazing! It's so cute and I love having access to a small kitchen. The staff is so wonderful and helpful too; CeCe, Bianca and Daly have great customer skills and made the stay amazing. The location is fantastic and I love the character the hotel has. The gym is VERY nice and has updated equipment.
