There were many fascinating and thoughtful displays, presenting a surprisingly candid look into the life of the often-maligned, but extraordinary life of the former President of the United States. The docents were amazing, and a special shout-out goes to to Terrie for the extra help with photos.
Mia Gomez8 months agoI went here today and it was an amazing experience. Me and my friend are both poli sci majors and went to this museum during break. History is so amazing and lots of information about some of the most impactful times in America! Loved learning about Nixon and the tour guides were so sweet! Learned a lot, and even picked up my own copy of the declaration of independence at the gift shop! Lots to see, nice staff, just an amazing experience! Bought tickets right there! No wait and super nice female staff!

It offers a detailed and nuanced view of one of the most interesting and perhaps under appreciated presidents in the history of our republic. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area or are just passing through. Truly not to be missed if you are a student of history.
Angella Raisian3 months agoI went to see Queen versus ABBA Candlelight concert by Orchid Quartet on a whim. The large room the concert was held in was perfect for the event. It had a huge chandelier, it was small enough to feel really intimate, and the acoustics were great. The event was held after the library was closed, so there was plenty of parking and not a lot of people wandering around.
Al Kuehnasta month agoThe Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda sits on the original land where Nixon was born, and visitors can walk through his actual childhood home, a small farmhouse built by his father in the early 1900s. Inside the museum, there are dozens of interactive exhibits and over 300 artifacts, including a replica of the Oval Office where visitors can sit behind the desk. One of the most interesting parts is the detailed Watergate exhibit, which presents the controversy that led to Nixon’s resignation in an open and educational way. The library also features the actual presidential helicopter (Marine One) that Nixon used—including the one he flew in after leaving office—giving visitors a close look at a major moment in history. In addition, both Richard Nixon and his wife Pat Nixon are buried on the grounds, making it both a museum and a historic memorial site.
