  Numerous high school graduations were held here on Saturday, June 6, 2026. With people coming and going and parking at a premium, you'd think someone from the event center would have been directing people where to enter, how to form a line, how to move forward. That must not have been in the contract, but it was miserable trying to figure out where we were going. No one helped others who were unintentionally cutting the line. We received an update that we should arrive early because of congestion. Some waited an hour in hot sun. Inside, there were plenty of seats. We chose a middle seat which had pluses and minuses. It was great to have the big screens to be able to see more, but where we were, the projector suspended from the ceiling blocked part of our view. Three stars may be too high.

  The place is set up cool with the projector all over the walls. It was not ideal for the EDM show we attended. As a person in a wheelchair... I COULD SEE NOTHING!

  I had a weird experience that had me questioning returning to the venue. I arrived this past Saturday with a buddy and bought tickets to the rave inside. A bouncer informed me that my chino shorts don't fit their "party chic" dress code, so I agreed to change and come back. I asked him if the hats we were wearing are okay (I was wearing a wide brimmed corduroy hat, and my buddy a cowboy hat) and was told that they're allowed as neither of them are baseball caps. We Ubered home, I changed into some pants, and we Ubered back to the venue. The same bouncer recognized us and gave us the okay. A second bouncer farther in stopped us and told us that we can't enter with our hats. When we asked about what the first bouncer said about only ball caps being banned, she responded "I don't care. Leave them there or you're not coming in", pointing to a number of cheap baseball caps on the ground outside of the building. We placed our (actually nice) hats on the floor outside, and asked the first bouncer about what happened. He said that he had already clarified about the rules earlier, that the second bouncer was wrong, and that he'll talk to her after his line clears up. After waiting some time, he told us to go grab our hats. When we did so, a third bouncer stopped us, assuming we're stealing the hats. After explaining the series of events, the third bouncer said my buddy's hat is allowed in but mine isn't. My buddy somehow convinced him to let me into the building, a full hour after we first arrived and already paid. We walked in and I immediately counted 20 dudes with baseball hats anyway (and a few with basketball shorts) in the crowd visible just from the entrance, so the whole ordeal felt pointless at best, and profiled at worst. To the venue: Please communicate the rules with staff so that we're not being bounced between multiple people giving conflicting instructions for that long. The physical space itself is nice and the wall projection system is beautiful, but the experience left me wondering if I was gonna get hassled again if I come back. Edit: Thank you for your response, but the published ticketing page does NOT state what you claim. Both the ticketing page and the organizer event page are still publicly up, and only say "Dress Code: Party Chic", the same thing the pages said before the event (screenshots attached). Doubling down on something this easily verifiable just appears to be further evidence of poor communication, not just among the staff, but with the organizers and event-goers as well. Again, my issue is not with the dress code itself; it's with the poor experience that resulted from receiving conflicting responses from 4 different channels (and apparently now a 5th).

  Our kids’ graduation was on June 5. This venue made what was supposed to be a memorable evening unnecessarily stressful. We felt unwelcome. First, parking was a nightmare. I heard from others who had disabled loved ones who weren’t be able to park in a handicapped spot. There wasn’t enough time to get everyone into the venue, either. The bag search line and a line to go through if you didn’t have a bag weren’t communicated. People waited in the hot sun for a long time. My daughters, the graduates, were yelled at twice by staff, when they were waiting for me by the car on the street while I paid for parking and once when they were in the venue trying to get to the band area (they were also playing in the band). A teacher had to vouch for them. The band was not miked correctly. Their classmate is a fantastic violinist, we couldn’t hear him at all. No stadium seating, it was all on the same level, so it was hard to see. Afterwards, it was chaos. Poorly lit and no chance for pictures because they were telling us to get out. Pictures after a graduation is a fairly normal occurrence. Finally, the bathrooms were closed at the end. I’d waited until after the ceremony was over to go, only to find out they were closed. I’m sure there were a lot of disabled people and others who had to go. What about them? Even with budget constraints, there’s still a level of organization that can happen that still helps people feel welcome. It really felt like the staff resented having us there. Our MPS students worked hard to get to this point, and so many MPS families have faced adversity. It’s a huge milestone for them. I want to make it clear that this doesn’t reflect on our planning committee from the school, but the venue.

  Fantastic event venue. I’m from out of town and I’m glad I accepted the invite. The projections on the wall make you feel like a celebrity. Kudos to food and entertainment. Plus (and this is a BIG plus), the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the event.
