Debbie Creager3 months agoMy stay at the Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio was absolutely exceptional. Every staff member was amazing from the moment I checked in to the time I checked out. They truly made me feel welcome. The room was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the fresh fruit and cookies available in the lobby each day — such a thoughtful touch! The rooftop café served amazing food with stunning views, and the rooftop pool was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hotel’s prime location right on the River Walk, with easy access to shopping and dining, made everything so convenient. Mokara exceeded my expectations in every way. I can’t wait to return!
Bill Stewarta month agoMy wife and I came here for our anniversary weekend, and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff provided top-notch service. Our concierge, Mickey, was amazing—I know it’s his job, but he went above and beyond, welcoming us with two glasses of champagne and a genuinely warm attitude. Front desk associate Carl was equally welcoming, ensuring we knew about all the wonderful amenities the hotel has to offer. On a side note: don't let any elitist vibes from other guests bother you. Carry yourself with confidence and keep them guessing!...Lol.Overall, an incredible stay. I can't believe I forgot to mention the room itself! It was absolutely flawless, carrying a beautiful, classic, and nostalgic elegance. Plus, it featured a huge, oversized tub with plenty of room for two. Just as amazing as the staff!
Scott Cogil2 weeks agoExcellent service from arrival to departure. The doorman and front desk staff were both outstanding—friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. The restaurant served excellent drinks, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. A special mention for the shower: finally, a hotel with great water pressure! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town.

Jill Sadler5 months agoAbsolutely LOVED this venue! As a professional facilitator and trainer, I am in hotels too many nights to count. And I am often in need of support from the front desk - supplies, print outs, room setup, temp control, etc - and Mokara was the BEST. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and well appointed. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The venue is a perfect place to host conferences and events. We'll be back!
