  We went to celebrate our anniversary and had a very pleasant stay. We were very impressed with the hotel. The receptionist, Jhenifer, was a delightful person—kind, attentive, and caring about every detail. All the staff were very friendly. The pool was clean and easily accessible. The breakfast buffet was excellent, as was the Tulip Bar, where we had a wonderful dinner at good prices and with good quality. We definitely recommend it and will return.

  Staff were helpful. For almost $300 a night, the old TV without casting option is not what you hope for. Overall some building and room features are not ideal, like for a 1 bdrm suite with a sofa bed outside the bedroom, the washroom should be in the shared space not inside bdrm! + the swimming pool should have showers?

  Overall, the hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the view, whether of the lake or the street, was good. The hotel has a pool, gym, and excellent breakfast. However, I’m giving one less point for the service: despite generally friendly staff, there were a few lapses. Before arriving in Ottawa, I had requested a higher-floor room with a lake view and was told to confirm on the day of arrival to secure it. However, upon arrival, we were given a room on the second floor!!! However, the receptionist did change our room to a higher floor, but it still faced the street, not the lake! Despite this, everything else was great, and I truly enjoyed my stay in the hotel.

  Location was very convenient for enjoying the Rideau Canal Skateway, appreciating the beautiful architecture around Parliament, great lunch and dinner options. Kids really appreciated the pool and breakfast, as well as the comfy sofa bed. The bath products were a really nice touch. And Dyson was exceptional at the front desk - full of information, going above and beyond with requests and tips. He made our stay truly wonderful.

  I've stayed here a few times now. Always have a good experience. Right near Spark street and about 10-15 min walk from Parliament. They have nice conference rooms for functions. The breakfast is decent, scrambled eggs, beans, hash browns, porridge, toast, cereal, waffles. And my wife who eats gluten free was able to ask for potatoes made separately and gluten free toast, which was quite accommodating.
