Just Jenn3 months agoFrom check in to check out, wonderful experience. Annie welcomed us at our super late check in and greeted us on Sunday, remebeeing we were attending a concert in town ans asking how it was. She and Mahir were awesome at check out! Facilities were clean, all staff we encountered gave us a hello and a smile. King suites was clean, very spacious, good water pressure in shower, large bathroom. Bed was a bit too soft for me but it was clean and a place to put my head. Shades gave perfect blackout. Pool was not busy both times we went and breakfast had a good selection and was filling. My only complaint would be lack of parking spaces. Good value, clean and good location We will be back!
Megan Bondya month agoWe got stuck. After driving 8 hours into Ottawa, with our kids we found out our reservation had been messed up at the hotel we were supposed to stay at. Due to the big sports tournament we were in town for, there were very few places available. Right from our initial call to Hilton, the service reps were compassionate and incredibly helpful given how stressed we were about the situation. They found a spot for us at this hotel and what an incredible blessing it turned out to be. This hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. The fitness gym is the best we have ever seen at a hotel and the addition of having access to the pool and a hot breakfast in the morning (things we weren't going to have at our first booking) made our stay super wonderful. We found all staff to be great but have to make special mention of Fleury at the front desk. His vibrant energy and smile instantly made us feel welcome when we showed up stressed out from the mishap at the other hotel. He continued to be a warm presence the entirety of our stay. A tip for other travellers, we brought out bikes to explore Ottawa and rather than having to drive and find parking somewhere we were able to access the Rideau River trails just a few minutes bike ride from the area. The ride along the river down to the waterfall/dam was beautiful. Although we did end up missing out on staying with the others families from our team, we are so incredibly thankful to this hotel for making our family time away into a trip we can appreciate and remember. Highly recommend this hotel and we will book it again if we are back in the area.
K4 months agoExtremely overcrowded and poorly managed property. Staff scheduling for room turnovers is clearly not coordinated—housekeeping carts and staff were constantly using the elevators at the exact same time guests were trying to get breakfast or check out. It made a stressful morning even worse. For the price, the breakfast offerings are very limited and disappointing. Parking is misleadingly advertised. Although the property claims to have on-site parking, guests are actually required to park at a different property and walk over. This is something we absolutely should have been informed about before booking. To top it off, the hotel places a $100 hold on your card without clear justification, and guests are told it can take 5–7 business days to be returned. Completely unacceptable and poorly communicated. Overall, this property does not meet expectations for the price or the way it markets itself. I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.
Daniel Leduc3 months agoExcellent service as soon as we walked in ! They were so kind and helpful. Easy to check-in and plenty of free parking. The rooms are very clean and spacious wow ! Clean and comfortable.Nice lobby to chat and have a nice warm coffee. We truly loved the heated indoor swimming pool!!! Plenty of towels at our disposal. The buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious!! We would definitely stay here again and we love this hotel. Close to downtown Ottawa, within a 5 minute drive.
Emily4 months agoNice and clean room, even has a microwave in it which is a plus! The staff are so kind and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. We had a drink spill in a food delivery from a restaurant through UberEats, and the front desk staff helped us clean it up and even replaced the drink for us! They also have breakfast options if you are celiac. I was able to have gluten free toast and oatmeal that is safe from cross contact with other foods! Would stay here again.
