  We had a room with 2 queen beds and a little sitting room with a couch that pulled out into a bed. I'm not sure if the couch bed was comfortable or not. The beds were comfortable. ONLY complaint about the room was our tub/shower wouldn't drain. They came to fix it, but it still didn't drain well afterwards. Staff was great and helpful. There was a huge breakfast buffet in the mornings from 6:30-9:30am. Offered eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast sticks, fruit, pastries, bagels, hot and cold cereal, omelettes, juices, tea, and coffee. There is a pool (no hot tub). It's downtown and we had a view of the Riverwalk from our room... It's a very close walk to everything (2-3 blocks from a Starbucks and Walgreens) and plenty of shopping and restaurants in equal or less than distance. We parked in a parking garage that was a block away and for $10 a day.

  This is one of the best embassy suites I have been to. The location is outstanding just steps from the Riverwalk. Couple hundred feet in your right in the heart of restaurant row at Riverwalk There is valet parking for $60 per night with in and out privileges. Also know that there is nearby garage parking That's less. The breakfast is excellent with make your own omelets, assorted bread and pastries, bacon, potatoes, French toast, oatmeal, cereal, soda fountain station, coffee station. The servers at the breakfast buffet are super friendly and attentive all the time. Rooms are pleasantly decorated with enough outlets and USB ports for your electronics. The only thing worth mentioning is the bathroom faucet handles are not ergonomically proper for opening and closing the faucet. Would definitely stay here again

  I’ve been able to do a few staycations at this beautiful hotel and it’s always been a treat. The staff is eager to help guests and make sure they have an enjoyable visit. The location is perfect for a visit on the riverwalk and easily accessible to shops, restaurants, etc. sadly, I experienced a sudden and very personal loss this week, and Yvonne went above and beyond to help me. Truly an amazing woman for helping me thru a rough morning. I hope to be able to visit again soon so I can thank her again, in person.

  I am writing to share some feedback regarding our recent stay at your esteemed establishment. Our suite proved to be exceptionally well-appointed, offering generous proportions and abundant storage solutions, which greatly contributed to a sense of comfort and home during our visit. While there was a minor oversight upon our initial arrival, we were thoroughly impressed by the prompt and effective resolution provided, which ensured our experience remained positive. Initially, we had considered the need for full kitchen amenities within our suite; however, the hotel's unparalleled location quickly negated this requirement. We thoroughly appreciated the vast array of exceptional dining establishments conveniently situated within walking distance or directly across the street, making every meal a delightful and effortless affair. For future guests, we would highly recommend utilizing the various public parking garages available on nearly every corner surrounding the hotel. These options proved to be a more cost-effective alternative to valet services. Furthermore, the complimentary breakfast was a delicious start to our mornings, and the thoughtful happy hour offering, providing two complimentary beverages per couple, was a welcome amenity. Beyond the hotel’s offerings, the proximity to the river walk presented wonderful opportunities for scenic photography. We can particularly recommend Pinkertons for an outstanding barbecue experience, located just across the street, and Leo’s for a satisfying pizza option. Additionally, the Royal Blue grocery store, conveniently situated nearby, was a valuable resource for any necessities.

  This hotel is very conveniently located on the riverwalk. The room we stayed in (2 queen, 2 room) was spacious and met our needs well. The breakfast was super good, with made to order omelets and a good variety of other foods (fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, pancakes/french toast sticks, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and more). The breakfast staff were very friendly and took the time to check in with the guests during meal time. The front desk staff are also helpful, save for one interaction we had regarding a package we had shipped to the hotel in advance of our check in. Another employee swooped in and saved the day, with much less attitude. The valet staff were wonderful as well. The pool is advertised as heated (by staff, at least), however I would not consider the pool heated. We expected it to be much warmer than it was. The bottom also had a bunch of sand like the filter had blown. Due to both of these we didn't spend much time in the pool, but the deck area is a nice space for watching the river boats go by (pool is on the 3rd floor rooftop). I'd stay here again. It's a good location to meet many needs.
