Leo in the restaurant is amazing, hands down the best part of our stay! He was attentive and so kind. Niko, Samoya and Savannah took great care of our one and only issue which was that the sheets on the pullout bed hadn't been changed which they corrected with swift speed and good attitude and responsibility was taken. The rooms were very nice and the bed was so comfortable. The walls were a tiny bit thin but not terrible. It was close to Disney which made our trip so easy not to mention all the different food and shopping nearby which makes the stay easy. You could tell they were putting great care into upgrading and keeping up the building! My husband and I plan on staying again next time
I needed accommodation with a late check-out due to an important work meeting and was able to confirm with the front desk staff at time of check-in the previous day. Upon check-out day, I was interrupted multiple times by Marriott staff at my door while said meeting to see if anyone was in there around normal check-out time. Moreover, Marriott staff had opened my room with their master key and I had to request meeting attendees to hold while I called the front desk. When I explained my situation to the staff, they did not even apologize for the inconvenice. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place for anyone who requires a late check-out because it's clearly not relayed to Marriott staff appropriately. Will definitely not be returning to this specific location!
Do not stay here if you are a single female. I’ve stayed at several properties near Disney and this is the first time I’ve ever heard of a hotel doing check out checks. At 9 am on check out day, my husband and I heard a light tapping. Keep in mind, the ice machine room was under construction so I thought the sound was coming from there. We ignored it and then heard it again except this time it was immediately followed by the sound of our door unlocking and opening. My husband was able to get in front of the door to stop the man from opening the door wider and asked what he needed. The employee said he was checking for early check outs. During this whole interaction, I was in the restroom, naked. The bathroom is completely in the line of sight of the front door. After he left I realized that there was no “do not disturb” placard in my room or on any of the doors. It’s such a shame because we couldn’t stop talking about how much we enjoyed the hotel in the days prior. As long as this policy is in place, we won’t be returning.
Has been our go to hotel for Disney trips. I want to be sure to recognize Somaya. On a recent stay for my birthday weekend she went above and beyond make our stay so special. She is the sweetest, kindest most thoughtful individual. We have always been treated well but this was on a whole other level. I made sure to email the manager but was told a Google review would help to give her the recognition she deserves. Thank you Somaya!!! Everything was so special and perfect. Sadly on my most recent visit we had the direct opposite experience. I wish I would have got the gentleman's name. He made us feel like we were an inconvenience to his day by checking in. We went up to our room and immediately noticed issues. I called the front desk and was pretty much dismissed. I am fairly certain it was by the same gentleman. After waiting for his phone call that never came we just went back down to the desk. Thankfully he was with another guest and we were able to be helped by Niko. He was amazing. Very attentive and apologetic. He very quickly made adjustments to have us moved to another room. Thank you Niko for turning a horrible experience completely around. This has been at least my 10th stay at this location. It's really hard for me to say an exact number because when my son travels with us he books the rooms. He travels way more than me. I think he just hit Platinum Elite. The reason I say this is because I'm so confused by so many of the reviews I see. Overall this is a great hotel for the price. Yes it's older but the rooms are redone and every room I have stayed in do look updated like the pictures. I don't understand how people say they aren't. I have never had issues with the elevators, sinks, toilets or showers. The air runs very cold. My daughter complains about how cold I can get the room. I can't speak for the gym because I'm not there to use it because when I'm here my steps are done at Disneyland LOL. A microwave in the room would be nice but it's not a deal breaker for me. And except for that one gentleman we have always been acknowledged as a Marriott Bonvoy member. Even with my little status. And when my son comes he definitely is treated to all the amenities. Recently we had to stay a first night at a different Marriott hotel and they were terrible to him considering his status. They didn't honor his free parking or late check out. Here was the complete opposite. They immediately let him know all his options and were so amazing with doing everything to make him feel special. He's a tough critic to hotels and was actually impressed with the service. He said he understands why we keep coming back here. Overall we have been extremely pleased and plan to return, I actually just booked my next stay. Fingers crossed Somaya or Niko are there when we check in. Keep up the great work Anaheim Marriott Suites. You are making our Disney days that much sweeter.
This place was a great stay, not expensive at all, the rooms are big and it definitely helps when you have kids the space is everything. The parking kind of sucks with two other hotels next to each other but overall it was good. Will definitely be staying here again.
