Been trying to reach someone via email, chat, and for hours in the phone call queue with no answer. I sent in my new litter registration online 6 weeks ago and have tried multiple times to follow up with them to check the status since they were SO quick to take my payment and charge me for shipping as well. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get a response from someone with all the avenues I’ve gone down to try and get in touch with them. I wish there was another way or that they didn’t acquire FDSB because since then service has gone to crap. Good luck getting any kind of assistance from this organization!!! If someone finds a way please let me know so I can try that. Also, don’t use the option for a call back because you won’t get it.
I recently received a renewal notice in the mail which I found interesting as I don't believe it has been a year yet. Either way, I placed a call to the UKC and was on hold for close to 45 minutes as #4 in the queue. I had to attend some other business so I hung up and tried again after 1:00pm and was on hold for over an hour moving from #7 in the queue to #5 during that time period. I finally hung up and decided to drive over to the UKC in Kalamazoo and when I got there, the lobby was dark, I could see no one in the building and there was a note on the door that stated the lobby was open only by appointment and to call the same number I was on hold for a total of two hours earlier. I happened to see an employee coming back from lunch and he was sympathetic to my frustration and took my phone number and said he would have one of upper management call me. That was yesterday and 22 hours later have not received a call. The customer service from this organization is horrific. The UKC used to be a great organization but the new owner/management doesn't have a clue on how to run a business. 6/14/23
Always a great experience with the UKC. The staff is usually great but on occasion I have gotten a couple rude people working the front desk. They have sign posted saying; "No public restrooms" - which is fine, I used to work somewhere who hailed the same sign. However, that sign never applied to paying customers. When you have people traveling from far distances to your place of business and theyre paying, allow them to use the restroom. It makes for good business.
Poorly run, don’t follow their own rules, don’t prioritize conformation dog shows, and super slow to process paperwork. Things should be so much better than they are.
After 3 months of waiting for them to process my application, they decided not to process my form because of a missing signature. But they charge the money anyway, including the extras for the shipping, which they never made
