Our dinner at the Tower of the Americas was easily a highlight of our time in San Antonio. Even with a minor setback regarding the rotation, the experience was excellent in every way. The Highlights: Exceptional Service: Our waiter was incredible and truly went out of his way to accommodate us. He mentioned he’s been with the Tower for 20 years, and it’s clear why—that kind of expertise and hospitality is rare to find. The Atmosphere: Having dinner while overlooking the entire city is a spectacular experience. The transition from the dining room to the Observation Deck after our meal was seamless and offered even more breathtaking perspectives of the San Antonio skyline. The Views: Even without the rotation, the view is the best in the city. Watching the city lights come on during dinner was amazing. Note for Visitors: The tower is currently undergoing some construction, so the restaurant wasn't rotating during our visit. However, the quality of the food and the top-tier service more than made up for it. It’s still the absolute best spot for a celebratory dinner or a scenic night out. 10/10 – Definitely worth the visit for the service alone! I’m uploading photos of the view from our table and the observation deck to show just how high up you really are! #TowerOfTheAmericas #SanAntonio #SATX #FineDining #VisitSanAntonio #TexasTravel #CityViews #SanAntonioSkyline #Hemisfair #TravelTexas

Great experience at the Tower of the Americas. Went on a Thursday night—wasn’t too busy, which made everything easy and enjoyable. Parking was an extra $20 on top of ticket prices, but it’s good all day until midnight, which is a big plus. That gave plenty of time to head up to the observation deck, then walk over to the Riverwalk (just a few minutes away), and even come back up later. Views from 750 feet up are incredible. If you can, time it for sunset—it’s absolutely worth it. The wristband is valid all day, so you’ve got flexibility to go up, explore, and return. Elevator access was smooth—no waits going up or down during my visit. They also have a 4D theater that looked interesting, but didn’t get a chance to check it out this time. Overall, easy, flexible experience with some of the best views in San Antonio.

There was only one elevator in use. So if you missed it you had to wait for it to go up & back down. There is an elevator attendant. They just stay on phone the whole time. There is no knowledge of the place shared or anything. If you are going because it it spins call a head to see if working. The belt had fallen off & they had no idea when it would be fixed. the observation deck was also closed. our visit was a little disappointing.

We visited using the city pass. Parking at the base is $20 for all day parking. We went this past Friday and they had an event going on outside the tower which was neat. The outside was breathtakingly beautiful and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They have a Starbucks in the cafe below which I enjoyed. We visited the gift shop and created a build a bear. The 4D theater was really neat each movie is about 10 minutes long. Beware the chairs will poke you in the back. 🤣 The elevator going up is really neat and the view at the top is amazing. My cons for this visit would have to be the construction everywhere. The shops on the viewing desk level were closed. When we came down from the tower our photos were printed and ready to purchase. We purchased the photo package and today when I finally had time to get to download the digital photos to my phone the site does not recognize my code. We also went outside to enjoy the live band however ended up leaving shortly after as we were attacked by mosquitoes. Overall this is a great tourist spot and we enjoyed our time here.

It was very nice. From the ground floor, where the scenery of water cascading off of the rocks in steps formations. It was multiple places at the base of the tower. The lobby was well decorated and buetiful and appealing to the eyes to look at. The elevator ride is nice, since you get a partial view of the city on the ride up to the tower. The chart house restaurant view was amazing, especially if dine in. The portion of it rotates 360° and you will not notice it moving unless your really paying attention to it.
