Grouse K92 years agoCame here on a blustery March day for a business meeting. One of the other party we were meeting with had made the arrangements, so I was only an attendee. The place was nice, comfortable and the staff that I briefly interacted with were both pleasant and professional. All the requests that I new of were promptly and politely taken care of. So, for a participant, I enjoyed it. Also, they had drinks and snacks which were all top notch. Finally, we had a catered lunch. It was a solid meal. Not great, but probably top notch for what I would expect a catered hotel meal to be like. If you are looking for fine dining, you're in the wrong category. For an event space, it hit the mark.
Winston Smith7 months agoMy 2nd company holiday party here as well as a stay. Nice rooms with great amenities. Bed was super comfy too. Super friendly staff. Amazing views. Even the view not towards downtown is really nice at night. Look forward to our next stay here.

Doug Bacon2 years agoLonger review so here so future planners know what to actually expect. We attended the New Years Eve 2024 Celebration for the first time this year. The location was great, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was good (nothing extraordinary but well done). The band "Stolen Winnebagos" were AMAZING as always! They were the real reason we selected this event! We wanted to really get the best experience, so we purchased the platinum package that included dinner, unlimited drinks and a table right next to the dance floor. $250 per ticket, plus fees, plus fees... yes, there were two sets of them. One fee for the ticket company and another fee for the platinum package only?? Total price per ticket, $292 and change... Overall...not worth $300 per person at all. -Minimal decorations throughout (only the tables were decorated) -Some party favors like hats, tiaras, and noise makers -Poorly managed audio/video/lighting (3 large screens with mostly the news on reporting about the high numbers of murders this year and eventually the ABC countdown...) The house lights were up and bright until almost 11pm -The "photo booth" was a simple green screen. The operator wasn't too sure how to run it and we only ever received 1 picture sent to us (she said the "wi-fi was really bad so sorry"...) -"Best Dressed" contest was really a dance off and way too long -DJ was basic at best. Low energy, no crowd connection and music selections were poorly coupled. The band was INCREDIBLE!! They get 5 STARS for sure but the rest brings the overall count down to a generous 3... I'll take my $600 somewhere else next year.
