Cassie Nixa year agoWe loved our wedding at The Blaisdell! The space is beautiful, and the gorgeous ballroom really stole the show for us. The white floral accent walls were what sold us, it added such an elegant and unique touch. Plus, the backlighting they have can be adjusted to set the perfect tone for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing, which made the whole experience feel really special. We also really enjoyed the nice patio area for cocktail hour. It was such a great spot for people to gather on a summer evening. The venue also had getting-ready spaces for both the bride and groom. The staff was helpful and great with communication throughout the whole planning process. We always felt like we were in good hands. We’d definitely recommend this venue to other couples looking for a beautiful wedding experience!
Kallie Friedea year agoWe had our wedding at the Blaisdell and it was absolutely perfect! The space was great and held 175 guests very comfortably. The Blaisdell team was very helpful and communicative. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

This venue is perfect for any client looking for a classic and romantic backdrop to their special day. The outside of The Blaisdell features stunning landscaping, so we were also able to capture gorgeous couples and bridal party photos in and around the venue itself. Located in the heart of Minneapolis, this is the perfect venue for anyone who wants a more classic wedding venue in a city environment. Highly recommend!
Brennan Johnson9 months agoI was a guest at a wedding here... I think it could be a great venue, it certainly has potential! But there was no decorations from the venue itself. The walls were threadbare, no pictures, no murals, no anything besides a big mirror or two. The spaces were not used to their full potential. The upstairs could have been a really beautiful chilled out area that could've had plenty of people... but there were 3 standing tables in seemingly random places. The furniture was uhh.... iffy. The seat cushions would fall off the chair, and every single one was cracked or chipping. Plus they were just real small, not large person friendly! The area is also a little iffy, there is no lot, only street parking. Walking outside around the building constantly smelled of pot, and the groomsman walked the women back to their airbnb after the wedding because the girls were scared to walk the 6 blocks alone. And the last thing that was truly disappointing, the large backlit white walls didn’t work. Not only that, but the couple didn't know about it until we started dancing, and that is onky because the groom started asking people why they weren't on! Side note, some of the preferred vendors seemed to be clueless at what was needed so the guests/wedding party had to fill the gaps.
Kev Fin4 years agoVery nice amenities to host a party, in our case a wedding and reception. The Blaisdell is a perfect vessel to create life-lasting memories! Staff were incredible, kind, welcoming, and they all seemed to be enjoying their interactions with guests. Highly recommend! Congrats Meghan and Christopher!
