Destiny M4 months agoLots of good bags of beans to buy! I had a cortado for-here with one of their featured espressos and it was very tasty. Lots of people in there but it was an open concept so it didn’t feel too crowded
Andrew Padgett5 months agoThey make terrific third wave coffee, my favorite shop in the cities. They always have a unique single origin espresso available, and their selection of whole bean single origin coffees available from roasters around the world is second to none. The beans are always super fresh, and they really prioritize excellent roasters who limit roast defects and emphasize high quality light and medium roasts. The people there all make really consistent coffee, which is one of the best ways to ensure I order what I want. They also are happy to discuss their coffee knowledge with me, which I really appreciate!
Chloe6 months agoThis FRGMNT location is beautiful. The space is very open and inviting, just like all their other locations, with plenty of different seating options so everyone can get comfortable. The interior design is stunning and the fireplace adds a cozy touch. It's always packed no matter the time of day, which shows how popular it is. Unfortunately, the coffee has been consistently disappointing for me. For such a great space, the drinks just don't match the atmosphere. Service has also been a letdown. It feels rushed and transactional, and the staff does not come across as very friendly or welcoming, which takes away from the experience. They do have a nice selection of baked goods, including Cardigan Donuts, which is a plus. Parking is typical for the North Loop. It can be a bit difficult to find right nearby, but there are plenty of options if you're willing to walk a few blocks. Overall, it's a gorgeous space and a great place to meet up or sit for a bit, but the coffee quality and service are what hold this location back for me which is sad because I love other FRGMT locations.
Kyle Babson4 months agoThe space is wonderful--especially for coworking. But the coffee is honestly not very good. The steamed milk drinks are just cranked out with not a lot of craft or intention.
P J2 years agoOne of my favorite coffee shop in the world! The barista can really make an amazing cup of cappuccino and they have great pastries too. Ample seating. I asked the barista the 2nd time if she could make me a flat white which I don't recall seeing on the menu and she nailed it! Can't wait to return to MN for this coffee!
