Yodaman Solo4 years agoI’ve never visited this congress centre before so it’s difficult to rate and critique but I can based on the covid vaccination setup they’ve had here these days. Overall it’s actually quite organized. They have staff set up from the entrance all the way on each level ending up at the hall where they vaccinate. It was quick and efficient! For anything else such as conferences and events it looks like it would be an adequate space for such things. 👍😎
Tyler Creecha year agoAmazing venue. Open ceilings and lots of space to go. There’s a canteen with lots of selection (pricy though), and tables to sit at. There’s also a food court underneath. Lots of parking available.
Lynne Lin3 years agoLocated just across the portage bridge so under 2 minute drive from Ottawa. You can walk as well …… Not a lot of events happening here since covid. This place used to be much busier when the government workers were still working at office. Now, it’s pretty much like a ghost town expect occasional exhibits or shows happen on the top floor. Food court : well, our beloved government workers have not gone back to work so most places are closed even during week including this food court as it is adjustment to portage 3 buildings. On weekends , all food court stalls are closed despite the on going events so kinda inconvenient. Parking is underground, $5/ every 30 minutes or max $15 for the day. Weekends is flat rate of $5. Great if you want indoor parking. But if you are frugal, park on street as weekend street parkings are ALL FREE on streets with meters.
