V Keshishiana month agoFirst time, NOT last time. We love love loved our stay. So many dining options. Expensive yes. Huge and easy to get lost, yes. Indoor waterpark for kids, YES! Rooms were clean and restocked daily. No room service, but not a deal breaker. Multiple markets onsite with anything you may have forgotten at home. The biggest downside??? NO CASH accepted anywhere. All purchases and dining is card only. You cannot even tip with cash. So FYI. We still give it 5 stars!
Allison Beecher4 months agoI first stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center for a weekend-long conference and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect venue—having so many restaurants and bars on-site made everything incredibly convenient, with no need to coordinate transportation or leave the property. My husband and I enjoyed it so much that we returned for our babymoon, and it was just as memorable. We spent a day at the water park, another being pampered at the spa, sampled a variety of restaurants, and took daily walks through the beautifully maintained grounds. The lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere made it easy to fully relax and unwind. In fact, I was so relaxed after the weekend that my blood pressure dropped enough for my doctor to jokingly recommend I go right back!
Andrew Wingfield4 months agoThis place is too big and unwieldy to function smoothly, not to mention it's under active construction and far from most attractions in Nashville. The property is difficult to navigate and seeks to extract as much money as possible from its guests while offering mediocre food and lackluster service. Of note: the staff messed up the billing for my recent stay and failed to correct the issue in a timely or clear manner, despite my following all their directions. In the end, although my charges were moved to one credit card per my request, the hotel staff didn't follow their own stated protocols and completely ignored the credit card authorization form they demanded of me. Opryland does not deliver the customer service experience of a true four-star hotel and only stands out for its gaudy vastness amid suburban sprawl.
TheOnlyLuvmi4 months agoAmazing. Breakfast is amazing! Love the Relâche Spa!! If you dont walk often might want bring a wheel chair. The place is huge. To come here then complain about cost os diabolical. stay at the Hilton for 600/700 a night and its not near as nice nor offers any of the amenities this place does offer
