The layout allows for seamless transitions between cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, keeping guests engaged without feeling spread out. Dan Cohena year agoA gem in the Kansas City golf scene, the course has gone through some big upgrades under new ownership and is in terrific condition. Great amenities and staff. There are different lounges for drinks and food, which are all great. If you’re able to play with a member, you won’t regret the experience.
sharon schubert3 months agoThe venue wedding event rep (Katelynn) was a no show for our scheduled venue tour so someone else did it but wasn’t their normal job so could not answer our questions and tour was rushed. They said she was “running late” but Katelynn never showed up and never reached out to follow up or apologize or see if we had questions so that was a huge red flag and made it a very easy decision to select another venue.
Frances Zuzolo5 years agoI can't say enough good things about Oakwood Country Club, and especially about Katelyn as the event coordinator! From the beginning, she helped us by answering all our questions about the big day, keeping us informed of changes, being absolutely wonderful and flexible with our date change due to COVID, and going above and beyond to ensure that all our many requests and needs were met. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and a perfect space for family and friends. The food is FANTASTIC! And, above all, the staff there truly are so caring and considerate. The day of our wedding, we had a family emergency which meant some of our guests had to take turns caring for someone and therefore couldn't attend all the reception. Oakwood boxed up food and made sure their dinner was brought to them! We truly had such a lovely wedding and would highly recommend Oakwood to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful space.
