Ali Dhanani5 months agoI’m sharing this review based on my experience working closely with colleagues who have been based at this Spaces location for over a year, as well as from visiting the office myself several times. Operationally, the space has been unreliable. Internet outages happen frequently, to the point where Google Meet calls regularly drop or become unusable, which is unacceptable for a professional work environment. Beyond connectivity issues, there are recurring maintenance and cleanliness problems. Coffee machines are often broken, refrigerators are poorly maintained and regularly have strong, unpleasant odours, and overall upkeep feels neglected. What stood out to me was that many tenants openly share similar frustrations, so these issues are clearly not isolated. From a cost perspective, the value is also questionable. Parking alone is around $300 per month, on top of already high office fees. Despite these prices, the office feels largely empty, with little to no sense of community or engagement among tenants. Finally, I’ve repeatedly heard concerns from colleagues about contracts auto-renewing and prices increasing significantly year over year, with very limited flexibility or support from management. If you are a business owner looking for a reliable workspace with strong infrastructure, transparent pricing, and a real community, I would strongly recommend exploring other options before committing to Spaces.
Solidifieda month agoFix the hours online it is not 24h at all, came earlier all locked way to early to be closed people need to study for they're success in life please fix the hours wasted my time and gas to have to some peace and its all closed with no signs of the busines hours either on all doors.
Maple Media5 months agoPredatory agreements, gaps in service / no responses to us for weeks and no notice of renewal given. Strongly advise companies seek other options.
Grace Monahan4 years agoGorgeous space in a converted match factory with many modern work areas, plus the possibility to rent a private office on a monthly basis. Highly recommend for all visiting (or local!) entrepreneurs, freelancers, and remote workers looking for a productive paradise right near downtown Ottawa. Thanks to the team (Romain & Jessica) for taking great care of us this summer ! we will be back for sure!
