Marathon Village

Marathon Village is where Nashville’s past meets its creative future: an iconic destination born from a former car factory and now home to makers, artists, and must-see attractions. Step into a space where history fuels innovation and every storefront tells a story!

Originally the home of Marathon Motor Works (1907- 1914), the first automobile manufacturer in the South—this historic complex has been transformed into a thriving creative community. Since renovations began in the late 1980s, Marathon Village has become a model for adaptive reuse, blending industrial history with vibrant new energy.

Discover a curated mix of premier shops, craft distilleries, and local gems—featuring Jack Daniel’s, Corsair Distillery, Poplar Point, H Bar C Ranchwear, Southern Engine Deli, Just Love Coffee Cafe and more! Marathon Village also hosts lofty studio spaces that house businesses like Lightning 100 and other creative agencies, making it a true community.

Marathon Village isn’t your typical neighborhood—it’s a one-of-a-kind destination where culture, craftsmanship, and community collide. Just minutes from downtown, it’s a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a unique slice of Nashville.
