Niranjan S5 months agoVisited Huntington Beach with my family on January 10, 2026. The beach was clean, calm, and very well maintained, and in my opinion it’s one of the best beaches in Orange County. I personally liked it even more than Newport Beach. Even in January the weather was pleasant, and the beach was lively. People were enjoying surfing and beach volleyball, which added to the vibrant atmosphere. My daughter had an amazing time chasing seagulls and playing in the sand, which made the visit even more memorable for us.
Lo2 months agoClean beach, but the water was cold. The restrooms weren’t bad, and there was a nice breeze, so it didn’t feel too hot. There are parking spots, restrooms, and volleyball nets available, which makes it a convenient beach to visit.
Trusting God3 months agoPros: Lots of sand Some active lifeguards Realitively clean Restrooms in abundance It's beautiful It's super clear water Cons: Outside Dairy Queen food or venders are a good 30 min walk... The Seagulls are Beasty DO NOT EVER GIVE THEM ANYTHING. I watched them sworm like a plague many beachgoers, dig trash out of closed trash cans and once they've identified your area as a good source you can't leave for a second or they take over. The waves can be a bit rough for littles but if you avoid pier there's less undertow. People are lame and don't clean up their trash or dog waste but there's plenty of recepticles and waste bags around... Overall it's pretty nice
Nizar R5 months agoWow, Huntington Beach, beautiful, clean, and unique. I took a rest day here after climbing Mount Whitney and had a great time. I will absolutely come again.
John Quist6 months agoFabulous beach with lots of sand and lots of water. And the sunsets are unforgettable. Looking forward to the day when the oil platforms will be removed.
