Tyler Cocci4 months agoWonderful stay in the heart of downtown Clevland. This historic hotel has a wow factor from the moment you walk up to it. The 1918 architectural elements really do shine and make you feel like you took a step back into the modern version of a classic hotel. The service was fantastic from when we walked in, especially from the front desk manager Robert. He gave us great recommendations and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were modern and seem to be recently refinished, we had view of the square and it was fantastic. The rooms were spacious, had wireless charging, and nice ambient lighting. I would also recommend having breakfast at the onsite restaurant, Mowreys. Overall - I will be returning next time I am in Clevland, thank you for a great experience!
Antonio #3 months agogreat hotel, excellent location, staff was very attentive. the 3 stars are for the lack of towels in the room I was in (no washcloths or face towels) and 2 conditioner pumps and 1 shampoo in the shower (no body wash?). Quick fixes, but I was certainly surprised that those standard items were not present.
William Reble2 months agoThey put a lot of money into refurbishing the hotel and it shows! An exceptional experience in every aspect. The staff- valet, front desk and restaurant servers were all among the best we've ever met anywhere in the world. Hotel and rooms were clean, modern, and luxurious. Breakfast at Mowery's was outstanding - the food and service were fantastic. Perfect location if you're going to the Jack Casino or anywhere downtown. All in all, a top notch operation in every aspect. We are already looking forward to returning.
Thea Petrigaca month agoWe had a great stay at the hotel -- I traveled with some girlfriends for a girl's trip. Nadia at the front desk was super kind and helpful. Everyone we interacted with was polite and professional. The reason I took a point off -- the layout of the room is not conducive for women getting ready. The full length mirror was about a foot away from the bed, the bathroom vanity was super small, and there was no mirror above the desk. There were only three of us in the room, and trying to get ready was a struggle. That being said, the location of the hotel is wonderful and centrally located, and the service is top-notch!
Rick Ruckera month agoWe just did our wedding there and ambiance is unbelievable. Our rep was extremely friendly and setup the room spectacular. Location is great and honestly I’d still recommend the venue. That said, the main reason we booked the venue was due to the bar. We had friends travel from out of state to have a drink at the bar with us. The bartenders during the day were excellent, but at evening they were extremely rude to my party. My father in law walked up at at 11:30 pm and they rudely told him to get a beer at the front desk. I was infuriated with how disrespectful they treated our party. Additionally, they charge a 23% service charge downtown. I plan on reaching out to some of my friends downtown at city hall because I don’t believe it’s actually going to the service workers. I don’t think it’s just the venue, rather all of downtown venues. If 100% didn’t go to the hardworking service members, I have a problem
