Mariah Charriera month agoPerfect place to get a brat & beer! Their German potato salat & cucumber salat brought me back to my mom’s delicious cooking. My Oma would’ve loved this place! The seating arrangement is great! & the staff was wonderful! Definitely get a pretzel with both cheese & obatzda!!!
Sopa Gyurme4 months agoIf only the food was as good as the decor, but unfortunately I found all the dishes we tried were very mediocre. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and got a breaded and fried chicken breast that was thick and rubbery. The very definition of schnitzel is pounded filets which it was not. I sent it back. I see all the great reviews but totally disagree. I've had a lot of German food in a lot of different places, but I can not recommend this one.
Aaron Riley4 months agoMy wife and I were in Nashville from Kansas City for an anniversary trip. We always have to check out the German restaurants in town wherever we go. The service was awesome! Our waiter was super helpful and friendly. The staff all wore traditional German attire, which I didn’t expect, but was fun. The place was decked out just like a giant German beer hall. The food was really good but we’ve had better other places. We would definitely go back next time we are in Nashville.
Vanessa Czoladaa year agoWe went during lunch on a Wednesday. They were very empty. Our waitress was very nice. We lived in Germany for 3 years and was impressed with the German food we had. It was good to find/have some German beer we couldn't find in stores. My only complaint is the food prices. There is no reason 2 sausages and a pretzel should cost $23 and one sausage on a roll with a side of fries was $20. I don't know if we would return for that reason alone.
Cherie Benham2 months agoThe service was friendly and rapid. Food was delicious. I had the Nashville hot chicken schnitzel with spaetzl and German potato salad. Very much an Oktoberfest atmosphere.
