Lori Adamsa month agoA friend and I stopped by for lunch. We confirmed pretty much that all of the good things people are saying about this spot are true. The outside seating area on the sidewalk is really nice. We were absolutely not forgotten about our service was excellent. The items we ordered were delicious. We shared a pizza and a salad that we added chicken too. I will definitely go back again. It’s a fun place just to wander around and look at the local stores after lunch.
BKV3 months agoBacaro Primo was charming and delicious. The staff was helpful and welcoming, and the bread served to start with garlic and balsamic was excellent. The pizza crust was especially good... crispy on the outside and soft on the inside... and the pasta was rich, fresh, and satisfying. The restaurant had a lovely neighborhood feel, and it made for a relaxed, memorable dinner. I’d happily go back.
J Souza4 months agoLocated on 55th street in the Crestwood shopping corridor. Cute neighborhood dining spot. The restaurant is cute, but the tables are situated very close to one another. If you want to have a private conversation, this is not going to attainable here. You practically have to shout to partner. My husband did not enjoy himself because of this. Our server was Jen and I was polite to her, but I almost felt she was not happy to serve us. Also, she made no effort to recognize that we were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday…nothing!!! And yes, I alerted the restaurant before hand of this fact! What we ordered: 1:) Carne Cruda $19.00 served with toast. The balance between the basil, capers, cheese and beef was delicious. 2.) Paccheri Pasta $27.00 Pasta was al dente meat sauce was well balanced and not too sauce. 👌 3.) Cannelloni $25.00 this was bit too rich for me and if you are looking for a more traditional recipe this is not for you. The Pistachio topping was a bit too much for my taste also. 4.) Salsiccia Pizza $20.00 the balance between ground Italian sausage, cheese and basil was lovely. If you prefer a less sauce pizza like I do this one is for you. We might give them another chance to redeem themselves as there were definitely some hits.
Vivian L. Sims3 months agoFood, atmosphere, and service were great. Our server was knowledgeable, personable, and helpful with my food allergies. Dessert was incredible. The only bummer is that the host seemed to try to sway us to the bar because of how we looked, despite being dressed appropriately.
Vince T2 months agoMy wife and I had dinner here last night, and we can't stop talking about how much we enjoyed our experience. For appetizers, we went with the meatballs and carne crudo (beef tartare), and they were excellent. For dinner, we went with the Salsiccio pizza, and we added two pastas: vodka and bolognese. The tiramisu was amongst the best we have ever had. All in all, the food was phenomenal. What made this experience even more special was the elite customer service. I can't emphasize enough how friendly and courteous the team was.
