Rent the Witte—San Antonio's premiere museum of Nature, Science and Culture Host your next event at the Witte Museum! Event spaces are available to rent for small groups of 10 or up to 1,500 people. We have several rental packages that include private indoor and/or outdoor spaces, and we also allow guests to rent the entire museum facility in the evenings for private events. Located in Brackenridge Park, on the banks of the San Antonio River, the Witte is conveniently located only minutes from Downtown in a tranquil area of San Antonio and offers a unique setting for any special event. Available event spaces include multiple event halls, a native plant garden, a courtyard with a covered veranda lined by majestic oak trees and several historic buildings from the Spanish Colonial period to the late 1800’s.

Memorial Auditorium: Capacity: 90-110 people seated dinner or up to 200 theatre style seating. Valero Great Hall: Capacity: The Valero Great Hall can host up to 150 guests.

Annalee Adams4 months agoThe exhibits are in fantastic condition, genuinely engaging, and designed to spark real curiosity. The kids weren’t just walking they were asking questions, connecting dots, and actually learning. We left knowing way more about dinosaurs than I expected (and yes, even the adults learned things)🤭🫡
D. Young2 months agoToday we explored the Witte Museum in San Antonio From the dinosaur displays to the habitat exhibitions to the ocean displays, everything was amazing. The bonus is there is a local parking deck included The exhibits were engaging and beautifully presented for visitors of all ages. Highly recommend a visit for families, science buffs, and anyone curious about natural history.
Robin Harrold8 months agoNice local museum. No wait to get in on a Saturday. Local colleges get in free everyday. Military discount is available. A good collection of dinosaurs, fossils, animals, flora, fauna, and history of local area and the state of Texas. Has a snack cafe and a gift shop to visit as well. Very kid friendly. Both Spanish and English signs. Free parking garage. Brankenridge Park is right next to it as well. Took us 4-5 hrs to get through without children. Can upgrade your ticket for the membership pass, which provides discounts.
ROY TREVINO4 months agoIt has been years since I last visited this museum. Glad I was able to visit on local day for free. Made it more of a reason to visit. It has been made over to perfection. I really enjoyed the exhibits and floor plan layout with it not getting crowded or getting lost. Going to be a revist soon again with family members that would really enjoy the visit as well.
Dee Hamilton3 months agoThis was a very nice museum. I,however, think $24 was high. I’d say this was a $15 admission museum. The dresses on display were gorgeous and I loved the limited amount of dinosaurs they had to see. The extra $6 for the undersea exhibit was overpriced.
