Alan Mostov7 months agoAs a wedding DJ for many years, it sometimes seems that I have already DJed in every venue in northeast Ohio. That's why I get so excited on those rare occasions when I am booked for a wedding or a party at a venue I have not previously visited. On Saturday, November 15, I had the privilege of DJing a wedding at the Sherwood Forest Event Center in Valley View—and WOW! There is SO MUCH to be excited about! Owners Jimmy and Patty are wonderful. They are among the very best venue owners with whom I have ever worked. Their attention to detail and their willingness to do all they can to guarantee the perfect event for all celebrants does not go unnoticed. They are so kind, welcoming, and helpful—as a wedding vendor, it was an absolute pleasure to work with them both. The venue, itself, is extraordinary in every way. The chapel and the banquet room both are tastefully decorated and very spacious, the food is delicious and expertly presented, and the service staff is incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating beyond compare. Everything comes together to create the perfect event. Their package pricing is spectacular, too—it is fair and competitive, giving you more bang for your buck than most other venues I have visited. If you are currently planning an event of any kind and size, you simply must visit this very impressive venue. You will be blown away by all that it has to offer!
Alina Seleznyov8 months agoI had the pleasure of creating a charcuterie table at The Sherwood Forest Event Center and I cannot say enough about the owners. They are wholesome, kind and so hardworking - the event space is beautiful and pristine!! I hope to work with them again in the future 🤍
Jim Flautoa year agoWe had our 1984 BHS Class Reunion at the Event Center on Sept 21st 2024. The Staff met all of our needs & expectations. Using the Event Center website for individual payment made it very easy for our Committee. We also were able to set up our class decorations early. The Food was as I would expect from a D’Angelos Restaurant kitchen….Fantastic! The Bar & Staff were exceptional. I would recommend Sherwood Forest without reservation! James Flauto
Desiree Sgro5 years agoWOW! Patty & Jimmy D are the BEST! With the world upside down during a pandemic, Patty and Jimmy made everything perfect. No detail was left unturned. They were flexible will all our vendors, their staff was amazing & all our guests raved about the food. The place is massive and they help with everything! I am so happy that Sherwood Forest hosted our wedding, it was the best day EVER. Please consider Patty & Jimmy for your next event, you will not be disappointed!
Dario Jukica year agoWe had our wedding here and everything was perfect. From the staff to the food, Jimmy and Patty went above and beyond. We received so many compliments from our guests on the food and the owners were very accommodating to everything we asked. We were not rushed to clean up and picked up all of our things the next day which saved us stress on our wedding day. I highly recommend this venue to anyone!
