A.J. Schoen3 weeks agoFrom the moment we walked in, Chris made us feel genuinely welcome and set the tone for a great dining experience. Our waitress, Olivia, was spectacular—friendly, engaging, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. The food was very good. I ordered the burger, and it was a pleasant surprise—it was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. My wife chose the Indian Chicken Curry Bowl and was very impressed with the rich, well-balanced flavors. Combined with the outstanding service, this was an excellent dining experience. We'd gladly return the next time we're in the area!
King Shifter4 months agoThe vibe here is very relaxed. Love the bar. Loved ot when it was Railhoppers, and the bar area hasnt changed much. Wish they had a few different options on draft, but can't make everyone happy ALL the time. Food is good. Drinks a little pricey, but happy hour deals are on point. Biggest complaint is they close at 9pm. Hey...Geography dictates otherwise, I suppose. I won't fault them for that. I would say that I feel like having NO particular server and everyone simply helping everyone can be problematic though, as no particular server seems to be devoted to providing exceptionally good service. And we've been ignored at times because of it. I don't mean that to sound harsh. Overall, definitely enjoy 'The Kitchen'.
Alexander Wilson3 months agoThe absolute best Mushroom and Swiss Cheeseburger I've had in a while. Excellent price-to-portion. Perfect amount of seasoning. And cooked right to the perfect amount. Not terribly greasy either! If I could I'd put a sign out front that said best Mushroom and Swiss Cheeseburger in the USA!
Ingrid McClurea month agoGreat meal! French Onion Soup with Grilled Cheese sandwich. Black coffee completed the meal. Second visit had the creamy spinach pasta with grilled onions. Onion rings were excellent.
Shuree G2 months agoSome family came to town and one of us is a vegetarian and likes what she calls “real food”. I had heard a lot of good things about “the Kitchen” from coworkers and acquaintances, so we headed there for a late lunch. Service was prompt and courteous without breathing down our neck. The weather was nice so we sat on the patio. The food exceeded all expectations. I ordered the “spicy yum yum” with salmon. Holy wow!! The salmon was cooked to perfection with a beautiful crisp on the outside and perfect all the way through. There was something for everyone at the table and the prices were in line with any other sit down restaurant in town. This will be our new go-to spot for sure. Service overall was great. Everything we saw was clean and overall it was a great experience. If you are in town looking for “real food” the kitchen won’t disappoint.
