Jess Brisbois2 months agoWe are so happy we got married here. We got married last year in April and to this day our friends and family still bring up what an incredible and unique venue we had. April in Minnesota can bring any type of weather— sunny, rainy or even snow. We wanted an outdoor wedding if we could but we knew we could bank on this. Thankfully this venue can accommodate indoor or outdoor weddings and we were able to make the call the night before the wedding when we were confident in the forecast. We were incredibly lucky to have a beautiful outdoor wedding. Morgan was our event coordinator and was amazing from beginning to finish. I am especially grateful for her remarkably calm presence the day of the wedding. She has clearly done a million of these. We had a very large wedding party which could easily get off track quickly and Morgan was able to keep that from happening. The only reason the dress rehearsal even happened at all is because Morgan took charge of things. All in all, our day went smoothly because of Morgan. Leading up to the big day she was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. She provided clear, direct answers to questions too, which I appreciated.
R7 months agoWhen we first toured Nicollet Island Pavillion we met Morgan. She was incredibly helpful starting from the initial planning stages, selecting a date, and arranging a special tasting to accommodate the bride's dairy and gluten allergies. Mintahoe was so on top of it that they even had multiple gluten and dairy free wedding cakes for the bride to taste. This was especially impressive to us because other gluten and dairy free bakeries wouldn't even accommodate cake tastings. (The cakes were all delicious. We went with chocolate raspberry/ lemon poppyseed with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.) Morgan went above and beyond through every step of the planning process, and she and the Mintahoe staff thought of everything. At our final planning meeting we met Nikita. She had the venue set up and then we went through every step of the day according to the timeline. On the big day, Nikita coordinated with our DJ, Pastor, and Photographers and things could not have gone better! A few things that really stood out to us were: - After the ceremony, the venue had our favorite drinks and small appetizer plates ready for us in the back room. - The late night snack (nacho bar and wings) were also allergen free. - They put up all of our signage and place cards (which saves a lot of stress). Overall, the day was so perfect because of Morgan, Nikita, and Mintahoe's professionalism and planning. As the bride and groom, we were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day!
Molly Trettela month agoWe loved hosting our daughter's wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion. Morgan was great to work with during the planning stage and the whole team was fantastic on the day of the event. Plenty of parking for guests, beautiful along the river, and we really appreciated the attention to detail. Great bartenders! Great tear down team!
Isabelle Koenig11 months agoWe had our wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion in May of 2025 and I truly could not have asked for a better venue! Our wedding was flawless and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space - it made for such a special night. Special shout out to Morgan who was our coordinator on the Mintahoe side, she was amazing to work with and helped make it such a smooth event! We cannot recommend this venue enough.
Chris Storliea year agoNicollet island is like a little getaway from the city IN the city.. The Nicollet Island Pavilion is a great spot to talk a walk, have a picnic lunch or just to listen to the river roar. This is my dogs favorite park to sniff and chase squirrels, beautiful trees and sights all around. The Pavilion is a great spot for parties and weddings, with outdoor accommodations as well.
