Rachel Karpanty-Yantisa month agoThis is a very well run museum experience. The people are warm and friendly and help get you started with some explanation about how to explore. The exhibits are great and there are two theater experiences with enjoying. The hologram one is very cool. We happened to be lucky enough for a “gold coat” to be in the building which was fun to do a meet and greet and photo opportunity. We also enjoyed the gift shop. If you love football or even just the stories behind the players, it’s very enjoyable!

Walking through the Hall of Busts gives you literal goosebumps—the reverence for the game's greatest icons is palpable. The exhibits are incredibly well-curated, capturing everything from the sport's humble beginnings to modern-day history. Seeing the Super Bowl rings and the Lombardi Trophy up close was a massive highlight. It is an inspiring, world-class museum that every true football fan needs to experience at least once in their lifetime.

It’s a well-designed, modern museum that does a strong job blending history, nostalgia, and interactive experiences. Even people who aren’t die-hard fans usually find something interesting, but serious NFL fans tend to love it. What stands out: * The Hall of Busts: This is the centerpiece—bronze busts of legends like Jim Brown and Joe Montana. Seeing them all in one place gives a real sense of the league’s history. * Interactive exhibits: You can test your skills, watch iconic plays, and relive moments like the Super Bowl highlights. It’s not just reading plaques—it’s pretty engaging. * Historical depth: The museum covers everything from early football (leather helmets era) to modern dynasties. It’s especially strong at showing how the National Football League evolved into what it is today. * Immersive theaters: Short films and highlight reels are surprisingly powerful—good production quality and storytelling. Pros: * Clean, well-organized layout * Great mix of history + hands-on exhibits * Not overwhelmingly large—you can do it in a few hours * Strong emotional/nostalgic appeal if you grew up watching football If you’re anywhere near Canton (it’s about a 2-hour drive from Columbus), it’s definitely worth a trip—especially during induction weekend when new legends are honored.
Stephen Burkert3 months agoThe staff here are amazing, sharing inside stories about the exhibits. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We toured the facility for over 3 hours, took in the videos on big screens and smaller monitors. This was a very interesting day learning about why the HOF is in Canton and the early teams. Very enjoyable and well worth the money.
L. James Simpson2 months agoMy family and I recently visited and it honestly exceeded all of our expectations. I went with my grandpa and uncle, and it turned into a really memorable family trip. The entire experience was incredibly well done, from the exhibits to the atmosphere and presentation of football history. What impressed me most was how educational everything was. There was so much detail about the history of the sport, legendary players, iconic moments, and the evolution of the game over the years. Even as someone who already follows football, I learned a lot. I also want to specifically recognize one of the volunteers, Steve from London. He was extremely knowledgeable about the sport and genuinely a pleasure to talk to. You could tell he truly loved football and enjoyed sharing that passion with visitors. People like him really make the experience special. Overall, this was an amazing visit and one I would absolutely recommend to any football fan or family looking for a great experience together.
