Yavuz Basarana year agoArrogant, disrespectful director. As multiple others have said. Went to the Press Club as a guest of a member to conduct an interview for a NATO Public Diplomacy Project. Was met with an arrogant, disrespectful, and condescending director. He approached us and said “I’m listening”, without any context or question. At the end of our interview, when I asked the receptionist if there is water, they recommended I grab a bottle from the kitchen area. When I did so, the director approached and started complaining in French, in front of many other people. When I said I didn’t understand, he mumbled on in English, and again, smiling, when I said I don’t understand, he complained, got upset, and stormed off. All for a bottle of water, which was offered by an employee of the Press Club. Never before have I been met with such condescending, disrespectful behavior. A disgusting, arrogant, inept individual. The water bottle has been put back in the refrigerator. Please do not bother going to the Press Club if you are a guest. You are clearly treated as not human. If a member invites you, for your own sake, just ask to go to a cafe across the street.
