Nighttown is a full-service, white tablecloth restaurant that will celebrate its 55th year in business in 2019. It is also one of the best jazz clubs in the world - and the home of the Press Club of Cleveland's Journalism Hall of Fame. Our kitchen is open from 11:00 - 12:00 seven days a week; later on weekends. Despite the fact we advertise no breakfast hours, we can open early to accommodate groups.

Despite its clubby atmosphere and quite surprisingly, Nighttown may be the largest restaurant in Greater Cleveland. We have 6 rooms of various sizes, all filled with fabulous wall art and each room quite unique. A sell-out for dining is 450; a sell-out reception is 600.

Janelle2 years agoGreat dinner with my husband, my son, and his girlfriend. All of the food was fantastic except for my filet, which I ordered medium but was served med-well to well. We were seated in a curved window booth. The table was a small square and didn’t fit the space. It made eating awkward. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. We each ordered a different dessert and Angel brought us the fifth dessert on the house so we could try them all. The French onion soup is delicious. Husband had the ribs. Son had a burger. GF had chicken. Husband and I keep an apartment next door at the Ascent. It’s nice to have a quality dinner restaurant so close. We will definitely be back when we are in Cleveland.
Hayley2 years agoWe had a lovely night at Nighttown to celebrate their re-opening. This was my first time at the restaurant and genuinely enjoyed the drinks, food, staff, and atmosphere. They were out of few options, but to be expected for a late dinner on their second night open. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying the live music and trying other dishes!
Jay Stone2 years agoMy family and I visited this Night town on 5/11/2024. The day before mothers day to celebrate our mother and grandmother. This was my first visit to this location and have heard so many nice things and wanted to experience this with my family. The Jazz atmosphere was great, the set up and all was nice on the eyes and the music to the ears. Our server was really nice and funny with a great personality. The service could have been a little better for the price and the wait. We ordered at 6:23 pm and didn't receive our food till roughly 8:00 pm. Our server did all she could in communicating from the kitchen to us. When out for finally came, the presentation was what was expected, but unfortunately, my $17 chicken sandwich was dry and had more breading than meat. We did recieve a discount due to the extremely long wait time. I believe a 3/5 star is fair . I also plan on visiting again for a more fulfilling experience in the future. Overall, we had a great time, the staff was great and we enjoyed Night Town!

And lastly, the food was delightful. Once, the live entertainment is in place. This club will be one of the gems of Cleveland, Ohio.
Kat on Walkabout2 years agoIt's apparently some kind of jazz and Irish pub. Not sure what that is, the food was amazing and the service was top notch. I had the steak tartar with a side of potatoes. It was very good.
