Lane Kuhlmana month agoWe ate here with family and were in town because a relative was about to have a surgery. He had a lot of food restrictions so we were hesitant to try this at first, but they were very lovely and accommodating. They literally took the list of his food restriction back to the kitchen to show the chef and provided some recommendations and adjustments which we really appreciated. The food was also really delicious all around. I had the chicken cordon bleu and my husband have the beef borginion. We also had profiterols and chocolate mouse for dessert. The pear Martinis were fabulous. I highly recommend this for a fancy night out in Chagrin Falls. I felt slightly underdressed, but everyone was incredibly lovely.

Every time we've dined at Lola's- whether as a couple or with a group- we've had a wonderful time. Every server and manager we have encountered has been fantastic but Kyla, in particular, stands out. She is attentive, thoughtful and consistently goes above and beyond to make each visit special. Her recommendations are always spot-on, and she genuinely cares about creating an exceptional dining experience. Lola's has become one of our favorite restaurants and we always look forward to coming back!

The decor and vibe was definitely our style and the other aspects of our experience (menu selections, service, meal) were also top notch. We especially enjoyed the French Onion Soup (a guest favorite I'm sure). We will definitely be back in the future.

I can’t remember our server’s name but he is very friendly, attentive and I love his recommended menu, Bouillanaisse de Marseille! He also gave us a small dessert with lighting candle for us to celebrate the birthday. This was my second time here and I came back for steak tartare and escargot. They are the best and I will definitely come back for more. Their cocktail, Pear flower martini was great as well. The dessert, chocolate moose was chef kiss as I like not too sweet dessert. The restaurant is very luxury and beautiful. I love the atmosphere and the design that is very photogenic. Overall, we had the best experience with Lola’s bistro.
Eugene Tsirlin4 months ago03/27/2026: We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a great ambiance—very much a French bistro style. The space feels open, airy, and inviting. Service was generally fast and efficient, though it did slow down a bit during peak times, which is understandable. From a food perspective, most dishes were very good, with one notable disappointment that prevented this from being a five-star experience. To start, we had the Onion Soup Gratinée based on our server’s recommendation—an excellent choice. It was hearty, rich, and full of flavor. We also tried the Tuna Cru, which was good overall, though it could have benefited from a bit more lemon to brighten the dish. For the main course, we ordered the Trout Amandine, which unfortunately was a complete miss. It lacked flavor and depth, and at $27, we expected significantly more. It felt underwhelming and forgettable. On the positive side, the Ratatouille that we ordered alongside was excellent. For dessert, the Apple Tarte Tatin was outstanding—the crust was perfectly flaky. Personally, I would have preferred it with a scoop of ice cream rather than whipped cream, but that’s a matter of taste. The Pistachio Crème Brûlée, which was also recommended by our server, was very good as well. Overall, a solid dining experience with great ambiance and several strong dishes, but one significant miss kept it from being exceptional.
