Emily Desautelsa month agoThe Kalamazoo House is definitely one of the coolest and most beautiful places that I've had the pleasure of staying in, and I travel about 15% of the year for work and have done that for the past 6 years. It is very well maintained for an old house, the decor is amazing and the bed and pillows were SO comfortable. I stayed in room 10, the one with the big bathtub on the 3rd floor. I was so relaxed and it was so easy to fall asleep after my nice hot bath. I wasn't able to stay for breakfast because of an early morning meeting, however, I am confident that their breakfast is amazing too. They also have complimentary soft drinks and fizzy Waters in the mini fridge, and a good selection of tea as well as coffee. If it's available, I will definitely stay there next year on my visit to see my client in Kalamazoo. The only other place that I've stayed in that is just as cool as the Kalamazoo house is this old Victorian house, a 12,000 square foot Airbnb and I believe it was in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jeremy Firminghama month agoMy wife and spent the weekend away together. This was our first bed and breakfast together. The Kalamazoo House was everything we were hoping for and more in a bed and breakfast. The location was great, walking distance to most things in the downtown area. Jeff and Amy were very friendly and helped with suggestions of local cuisine and sights to take in. We added a couple's massage to stay which was definitely worth the small extra cost. Breakfast was excellent in the morning. If someone is looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing place to stay, I would recommend Kalamazoo House. My wife and I are already trying to figure out when we can come back for a stay.

From walking in and being greeted in such a warm and friendly manner, through lovely breakfasts, snacks and cookies, relaxing in the large hot tub and on the extremely comfortable bed with the fireplace and huge TV, it was an incredible time and we will be back. We also opted for the popcorn, massage and wine mixing experience and they were all so amazing. Definitely recommend everything!! Thank you all for the perfect escape ❤️
Nicole Schaub4 months agoA wonderful and charming bed-and-breakfast in downtown Kalamazoo. They have a number of unique add on services, including in-house massage, gift packages, and in room breakfast. This made it easy to treat ourselves during our weekend away. It was a short vacation getaway during a cold winter and we greatly enjoyed the large soaking tub. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the area! Breakfast was delicious on both days and the ambience of the location was great for a romantic getaway. Our host was always easy to reach via text and it is clear that the owners put a lot of care and love into this place.
Kelly Gerber2 months agoMy husband and I had a wonderful time at The Kalamazoo House. The owners are delightful, kid, and thoughtful. They answered questions about the house and local places to eat. The room we stayed in was lovely. On the third floor, we could see out towards the museum and downtown. We would definitely stay again!
