The room was cozy, neat, and clean, with all the essential amenities provided. It had pretty much everything you would need for a pleasant stay. The reception team was excellent. Mohammed and Hailey were especially welcoming and helpful, making the check-in and check-out experience smooth. One of the biggest advantages is the location — it’s within walking distance of Parliament Hill, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. Another highlight was the in-house access to Porch. Having a restaurant connected to the hotel building is incredibly convenient and adds to the overall experience. Overall, a great stay — comfortable, convenient, and well-serviced. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment we checked in, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant and efficient. It's clear the staff takes pride in providing top-notch service. * Impeccable Cleanliness: The room and hallways were spotless. The level of cleanliness was noticeable and greatly contributed to a relaxing stay. * "The Porch" Restaurant is a Gem: You absolutely must try the attached restaurant, The Porch. The food was truly amazing, and the atmosphere was lovely. It's so convenient to have such a high-quality dining option right on the premises. 👎 The Cons * Low Water Pressure: The only minor drawback was the water pressure in the shower, which was disappointingly low. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but an improvement there would make the stay perfect. Overall, the positives far outweigh the single minor issue. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn location, especially for the great service, immaculate rooms, and the fantastic food at The Porch!
K S4 months agoHad a great stay at this hotel. It was clean, the room seemed somewhat recently updated, staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal for what we had planned for the trip. The bathroom was small but clean, and even though we were only two people we booked a room with two beds to give us a bit more space. I’ve stayed in other city hotels in king bed rooms and found them small, so tried to get around that here and it worked out. We used the parking garage, which was definitely old and narrow but was fine. Just be prepared that it is a city parking garage and was probably built before most people drove oversized SUVs. It was nice that you can take the elevator up to your room floor from the garage, though. Overall a good experience and would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Ottawa!
saeid moein3 months agoI recently stayed at Holiday Inn Ottawa Parliament Hill for 10 days. Rooms were clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. Pros: great location near Parliament Hill, friendly and accommodating front desk staff, excellent service. Cons: none noted. Overall, highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay in Ottawa.
