Brian Anderson2 months agoThis place isn't bad. It worked fine for us. It's kind of on the edge of downtown, but not so far out that you can't walk if you want, or take a short Uber ride to wherever you're going. The only thing I didn't like about our room was the bottom of the bathtub. Like...it wasn't flat or something. It seemed too arched so when you're standing there taking a shower, it's almost like you're balancing on a skateboard. I know that's kind of an odd criticism, but if you were to stand in it yourself you would know what I mean. Anyway, other than that it wasn't bad. The front desk people were friendly and the rooms seemed clean. Good for a place to spend the night if you don't need fancy.
Lanyon Ted5 months agoI had a genuinely great experience at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Minneapolis–Downtown. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the Minneapolis Convention Center, which made getting around incredibly easy. The area feels lively and convenient, with plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of downtown. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was spacious, and everything felt well‑maintained. I also appreciated the free Wi‑Fi and the little in‑room touches that made the stay feel smooth and stress‑free. Breakfast was a solid highlight. The selection was good, everything was fresh, and it made starting the day a lot easier. The staff kept things stocked and the dining area clean, which I always appreciate. The team at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, and check‑in was quick. Even though parking is limited on‑site, the nearby garage options made it easy enough. Overall, this hotel delivered exactly what I needed: comfort, convenience, and great value. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Minneapolis.
Rachel Adams4 months agoI was not expecting this hotel to be so great!! I was here for a conference and checked in the evening of 3/11. Tameka and the other gentleman working were SO kind and welcoming! They consistently texted after I got in, asking if my room was okay. They actively showed me around to the lobby, gave clear directions to my room, and did it with a smile on their face—they really look like they enjoy working there and were so personable and helpful! Everyone I came across did. My room was clean and comfortable. Best hotel breakfast Ive ever had. But what stood out to me the most was the service. I typically don’t leave reviews, but the customer service here was so great I had to!
J L2 months agoBUDGET HOTEL DREAM This hotel is obviously well managed. It is clean, staff are friendly/attentive, and rooms are well-appointed. We booked through Costco and got a smokin deal. Parking is $20 a night and easy in/out.
Christa Ooten2 weeks agoGreat location downtown Minneapolis. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Hotel has small parking lot, with a public garage across the street. Rooms are larger than normal and very clean.
