Gavin Kingsley3 weeks agoMy first room was noisy as it was on a high floor and the fans were extremely loud on the roof . Without hesitation was moved to a room on a lower floor which was perfect. The real highlight here are the staff - every single person I dealt with was friendly and resolved any issues. Only disappointment is there is nowhere in the hotel for proper food for breakfast. The food in the evening however is excellent in the Italian. All in all- a very friendly hotel and slept so well
J. R.3 months agoAbsolutely wonderful hotel with a beautiful interior, lively night scene, and activities to keep yourself entertained. The location is fantastic. The staff are kind and helpful. It's dog friendly! The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are stylish and clean. You can't go wrong staying here. There's parking garages a block away or valet available.
Philip Greenspun6 months agoThe public areas and gym are very nice, albeit a little cold during what was an unusually cold spell (-7 to +20 outside). The restaurant has some good dishes, but gets very loud if anywhere near full. The morning coffee shop is good, though the food options are limited. My room (625) was presumably one of the better ones (hotel only 1/4 full and I had Gold Elite status), but was unusually shaped and very dark, presumably reflecting the building's conversion from bank/office to hotel. Ventilation was excellent so let's give the HVAC engineers some credit! The Skyway connection to downtown office buildings was useful.
Yasmin Infante3 months agoIncredibly unique experience. The main lobby is warm and welcoming. The room was great. The dishes at the restaurant are top notch. The service across the hotel day/night and every aspect was provided by an experienced and genuine staff. Hotel also offers some fun hidden gems.
Gregory Feltman7 months agoA nice Marriott Hotel. Check-in went smoothly and the staff was very helpful, even ensuring our whole party was on the same floor. They have a unique shop downstairs in the lobby with misc. goods and a fridge with water/pop and various alcohol choices. The building is an old bank and they did a great job continuing that theme throughout. The restaurant located there had a great bar and good dinner choices. I would not recommend the restaurant or the coffee shop for breakfast though.
