Jim steiger2 months agoIt had been decades since I've been here. Feels like it hasn't changed a bit. That's not exactly a compliment. The food was fine. Nothing special. Nothing I would crave in the future. The service was fantastic actually! I praise for that! The atmosphere is also just fine. Nothing great. It is not very expensive so that's a plus. If you're looking to be wowed, this is not the place to go. If you're looking for a "decent" meal at a fair price, this is your place.
R B3 months agoThe clam chowder and French onion soup were a perfect start to dinner. The salmon was excellent; and the lobster amazing, but the steak was a bit on the dry side. We paired the meal with a nice red wine. Dessert was excellent, the creme brulee was enjoyed right after dinner and the cheesecake saved for later.
Chuck Robertson5 months agoHead reservations for when they first opened on a Saturday service was good but slow took a while just to get water and bread to the table apps that didn't take too long but dinner scene to take a very long time people that walked in the same time that we did had already ate paid the bill and gone before we even received our entrees ordered a couple fillets one looked really good but was very dry word ordered a filet and had it cut oscar style the crab meat on top was very fishy almost like it must have been a canned crab they used both ribeyes that was ordered at medium temperature come out rare to medium rare all the steak could have used some kind of seasoning on them other than just Char-Broil even the mashed potatoes and green beans were very Bland. first time that I've ever been there sorry to say that I probably won't be back
Avery Morgan3 weeks agoService was the human equivalent of the dump I took last night. With exception of the hostess! She was very nice for the three seconds we interacted with her. As for the bar tender… well she’s the reason I can’t even rate the food. After being directed by the hostess me and my companion went to the bar to order our food to go, as we planned on having a lovely pic nic at sunset dinner. Well no. We stood at the bar for five minutes, which in itself isn’t something that would usually bother me. I understand the stress of a busy environment but that was not the case. The bar tender talked to an old man about something so idle that I don’t even remember what it was, for five minutes. While occasionally making eye contact with us and deliberately ignoring us. So we were left standing by a bar, not even a word. Anyways, if you wish to have a nice meal for a sunset pic nic, go elsewhere or talk to the kind hostess. End scene.
Kirk Scharein7 months agoHad a wonderful New Year's Eve celebration. We both had filet and lobster besides included mashed potatoes which were homemade and green beans which were perfectly steamed. Steak was delicious. Not overly seasoned. Everything about the meal was good.
