Elisha Ybarra3 weeks agoWhat a nice hotel! Great staff, wonderful beds I slept so good and I had a great view! We are diamond elite so we get 2 free items from the pantry and I chose a Coke and icee cream, well I think their freezer went out because the ice cream was melted. I didn’t complain because it was free just a heads up. Everything was great and breakfast was yummy! I will be back
Shirelle Sampsona month agoI enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza. Service and workers were very professional, kind, greeted you with a smile, genuinely friendly. But only one elevator worked for the duration of my stay, which made it an inconvenience. There was a youth sports tournament in the area but they were staying in the same hotel as our convention which made the wait time for the elevator longer. Also, the air conditioning was non-existent in our meeting rooms. With temperatures reaching 70s and 80s. We were told that a new unit was just installed a few weeks ago. Not comfortable at all.
Fipe2 months agoWe stayed in town for several days with my entire family, a party of 40, and booked multiple rooms at this hotel. The check-in process was easy, but I quickly realized the place is outdated. After my first night, we returned to our room after a long day, only to be greeted by large roaches. I immediately brought this to the attention of the receptionist, but the response was dismissive and insufficient. I spent over $30 on cleaning supplies because “cleanliness” is clearly not a priority here. I informed the manager that I have receipts for purchasing cleaning supplies, as I have now run out after cleaning the room. The hotel staff saw my sister taking photos of the roaches and rushed over to kill the bugs, telling her that she couldn’t take pictures of them and that we were only taking photos for free things. Which is not true, we kept telling them about their pest issue and it wasn’t of any concern to them. It seems that both the hotel staff and management are aware of the pest issue but are trying to conceal it. I managed to capture one roach while the others scurried away. When I spoke to another receptionist, she downplayed the situation, claiming these roaches fly in from the islands and aren’t native to San Antonio. Regardless of their origin, I did not pay to stay in a room infested with roaches. They relocated me to another room, stating that the original would be closed for pest control, which turned out to be false—just hours later, it was occupied by another guest. Several of my family members also encountered roaches in their rooms and submitted videos to the hotel management. If you’re looking for a place where cleanliness is overlooked and roaches are welcome, then feel free to book here. Otherwise, I strongly advise seeking accommodations elsewhere.
Naushad Alia month agoA great place to stay. Very neat with facilities like gym, pool, meeting rooms. The service was amazing. Everyone was Welcoming. Big and comfortable rooms. I was on the tenth floor and the view was fabulous. It was my first visit to San Antonio and this hotel made my stay comfortable and relaxing.
Katie Tworek6 months agoI just traveled by myself with my three little girls. I can’t tell you how lovely the staff was here. We spent the night ahead of an early flight and the shuttle driver took such good care of us and made sure we were safe inside with all of our belongings. The room was clean and quiet. On our return stay they remembered us and asked about our trip to see family. They are personable and kind and the rooms are great! All the simple amenities you need with a clean bed and a clean bathroom! If you need a place to stay ahead of a flight I highly recommend.
