Paul Warner6 months agoThis was my first return to the Bayview Yards in years. It is still an excellent building and the event that I attended was great! The facilities are clean, staff friendly, and the parking was perfect!
Gaby8 months agoI went there with a friend one morning to work and had such a great experience. One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen were the little soundproof booths for video calls — completely quiet and you can use them for up to 45 minutes. There are about 3 or 4 of them available. At lunch, there was a local pop-up restaurant that was was good! The coffee machine was also a highlight, it’s free, has tons of options (cappuccino, americano, mocha, French vanilla, tea, etc.), and, it’s a great icebreaker. It makes it super easy to start conversations and meet people, good spot for networking. Someone offered to give us a tour, but I didn’t have enough time. It’s also just a 10-minute walk from Pimisi O-Train station, so very easy to access. Overall, such a fun, social, and immersive experience. Highly recommend!
Rachel Fayter4 months agoWe rented out the training room on the second floor for a workshop with about 30 people. There's a free parking lot and the location is accessible by LRT, right off the Bayview stop. The building is spacious, clean, well-maintained with a rustic, industrial artsy-vibe. There is an elevator and accessible washrooms. We rented this on a Saturday and no one else was using the building. The staff were very helpful. We were able to use the huge training room, along with a couple smaller rooms for break-out groups, a coat room, and the hallway/mezzanine where there were tables, chairs & couches. Which was nice for lunch and having small group discussions. There were also white boards and easels with chart paper. This is a perfect space for workshops, team-building, and working retreats.
Bill Turner6 months agoGreat space for presentations. From smaller rooms 4-5 people to 150+ in main theater style room. It may accommodate substantially more in different configurations. And this event was for AI investment government. Great session with 2/3 attending remotely
