BOUDRO’s on the RIVERWALK is so delicious! We really like the guacamole made fresh tableside. It is one of the best guacamoles I’ve ever eaten. Yum! The bar has a nice selection of spirits. My partner always orders their signature drink, the Prickly Pear Margarita. It’s located on the River Walk. It offers indoor, outdoor and covered outdoor seating. Great views. ISRAEL, our server, was friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend and we will be back.

Saw this restaurant on the Texas Bucket List and finally tried it! Prickly Pear Margaritas were refreshing and super yummy. Our waitress was excellent, extremely knowledgeable regarding the menu and very helpful with suggestions. I had the stuffed quail. It was a little on the sweet side for my taste, but it was overall a good balance between the gameyness of the bird and the sweetness of the apricots. My spousal unit had the prime rib and said it was excellent! Cooked perfectly and seasoned amazingly. The vegetables are super good as well. We didn't take a picture of the seared scallops, but they were tender and the flavor was awesome! Overall, the prices were more than I think it was worth. But you d o get a great view of the river walk!

Our credit card gives us a $100 credit to certain restaurants in the city so we did our research to see where we should spend our credit as well as make our reservation. This place was perfect for a relaxing date night and we got on the river reservations day of. The staff was super friendly from check in to service. We went with the fan favorites of blackened gulf fish fillet to shrimp and grits. The table side guacamole was hard to pass up as we witnessed them make it freshly at the table. The fish is the best I’ve had in SA. Worth every ounce. My husband gave high praise for the shrimp and grits as well. We also had drinks to go with our meal, that had great ingredients but something we’ll pass on next time as the price didn’t match the quality nor did the guacamole match the price either. I recommend putting the avocados in the fridge before serving, warm guac is not a favorite on a summer night. Other than the little critiques, we were glad we picked this restaurant to enjoy our evening out with one another.

The food was definitely the highlight of the evening. I ordered the adobo chicken and my partner had the ribeye steak, and both dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. As someone with a gluten allergy, I do wish the restaurant did a better job identifying allergens on the menu. When I informed our waitress about my allergy, she seemed a bit confused and wasn't very knowledgeable about the options. That made ordering more stressful than it needed to be. Thankfully I did not get sick. The service overall didn't quite match the quality of the food. Our waitress rarely checked in, and the experience felt a little inattentive. That said, the atmosphere on the River Walk was beautiful, the food was excellent, and we still had a wonderful evening.

My granddaughter and I had reservations here (San Antonio, Texas Walkway) to celebrate her graduation from Lackland Air Force Base. We arrived approximately an hour early and there was no hesitation or wait to seat us despite this fact. The food was beyond exceptional. We started with the Guacamole for 2. The chips were very fresh, warm and tasted homemade. The dip was prepared at table side and it was outstanding; the best we’ve ever had without a doubt. Our hostess, Jessica, was personable, polite and professional. She recommended several dishes and they all sounded delectable. I went with the shrimp and grits and my granddaughter had the blue crab tostados. For dessert we shared a crème brûlée. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who desires a great meal, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.
