  Chris at Dance with TLC was a joy to work with! My husband and I did the 5 private lesson wedding package to prepare our first dance. Chris' passion and knowledge for dance is evident as his lessons were so fun and he had clear solutions to steps we had more trouble with. Our first dance was definitely a highlight of our wedding! There was also no memorizing! He showed us the basic moves and we weaved them together easily on the spot. Our foxtrot made for amazing photos and a lasting impression for our guests. I would highly recommend!!

  We asked Dance with TLC to teach us a wedding dance and they went above and beyond. First myself and my partner don't have a rythmic bone in our body and are very awkward. Chris was so good in teaching us the fundamentals in 5 classes, and things we never even would have thought of (how you make your entrance, how you finish, and tons of small details that make a huge difference). Chris is able to so fluidly switch between the male and female role to demonstrate different moves, he's truly an expert. He worked with our chosen song, slowing it down to match the dance, and gave us custom songs for the mother/son and father daughter dances as well. The lessons were very fun and honestly left us wanting to keep going as it was such a good activity to do together. Thank you Chris and TL!

  We worked with Chris over five lessons for our wedding dance. Chris is an excellent instructor who was able to quickly gauge our skills (or lack thereof) and tailor the dance to us so it was achievable while still adding some fun challenges. We were able to get a good sense of the movements in the first few lessons. He gave us a lot of confidence on the dance floor, and most importantly made the learning process engaging and fun. Would highly recommend to any couple looking for some lessons prior to their first dance!

  I'd give TLC (TL and Chris) more than a 5-star rating if I could. I was planning my mom's 60th birthday and I know she loves to dance. I reached out to Dance with TLC to see if I could get a group lesson for our extended family as a surprise for my mom on her birthday. First of all, TL was an absolute joy to talk to and work with. Though they don't normally do lessons on weekends, they made an exception for us given that it was such am important occasion. TL worked with me to find a time that worked so we could surprise my mom with some Latin Dance lessons for the whole family! Throughout the whole process she was very flexible and accommodating. Once we established a time, TL was in constant communication to provide updates and confirm that we were still good to go. On the day of, I was blown away. TL and Chris got to the dance studio (which is in the basement of a church) early and went out of their way to setup birthday balloons and a birthday banner all throughout. I was flabbergasted by the amount of thought they put in to making it an even better experience than I could have even asked for. While the whole family waited for my mom to show up to surprise her, Chris and TL made us feel at home, offering anyone water, tea, or coffee! They really made us feel like we'd known them for years. When my mom arrived, she was so surprised to see everyone and that's when the waterworks began, haha. That's when TLC took it away! TL introduced what we were doing and they started to teach us some Salsa and Merengue! The lessons were perfectly tailored to our skill level and they made us laugh and have a great time. Some of my family weren't very keen when I first told them what the plan was.... Once we started, they were loving it! At the end of it, everyone was saying how much fun they had and how good of an idea it was. My mom said it was one of the best birthdays she's had. The last thing I'd add, is that TL and Chris' daughter (Sienna), was so wonderful to keep my 3 year old company with some crayons, coloring books, and toys while the rest of us learned to dance. He really enjoyed his time with her. What else can I say except that Dance with TLC defined "going above and beyond". They are a wonderful family and clearly love what they do. I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you again, TL, Chris, and Sienna!
