Peter L2 months agoThis is a great airport hotel. It is close to the airport and has a free airport shuttle. It has a small but nice bar in lobby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free morning coffee. The rooms are absolutely fine. Only criticism is that the shower floor was either a little moldy or needed to be painted - not sure which but not terrible. The price is amazing for what you get.
runmas552 months agoOn May 10, I booked a large 2 queen room, quiet, with modern décor and very comfortable beds and pillows. Ricardo checked me in and was super nice. So was Jose, the airport shuttle driver. The hotel is located very near the airport and next to a shopping mall with a good assortment of restaurants. The hotel was undergoing renovations (including replacing/repairing damaged carpet throughout the facility and small outdated room TVs that were minimally functional) that kept me from giving the Aloft 5 stars. Breakfast selection was very limited and not free for me (even as a titanium elite member), after I opted for the welcoming gift points. In the decades as a Marriott member, practically every hotel offering free breakfast has given me both the points and breakfast. Additionally, some other reviewers noted that the sink and shower water did not get hot. I agree; but the temperature was sufficient enough to take a comfortable shower. Overall, the price was right and the staff very accommodating. I look forward to staying there again.
Teresa Chavez3 weeks agoWe had such a great stay because everyone was so nice and friendly! There was a small mix up when I checked out but when I called, Cheyenne was quick to take care of it. She was the one that checked us in when we arrived and I was very impressed that she was extremely busy with phone calls and people checking in but she handled it with such professionalism and patience. Thank you all for having us and for Cheyenne for taking care of my issue so quickly!!! Will definitely be back to stay!
Liz Carrilloa month agoLocation is perfect when attending an event at Red Oak Ballroom , the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big however there was a smell I could only describe as “funk “ the shower was something I’d expect to see in a locker room or pool house it was in need of CLR and a good scrub the corners were black of what I assume would be mold, I made my shower quick and placed towel on the floor and wore shower shoes. The door had yellow stains, we had a joining rooms and the frame in between has stuff stuck in there that was maybe old food or a spill, needless to say we made sure the grandbaby didn’t touch much during our stay.This could be a very nice hotel with a little TLC in the cleaning department
Juanita Lucero3 months agoWhen I called to schedule a pick up from the airport the lady at the desk informed me that the driver would not be back for an hour. It seemed weird since the hotel is about 10 minutes away. We used a ride share after waiting 30 minutes. Then found out upon arrival that there wasn't a driver at all and there was no intention of picking us up or calling to let us know. We were then assured we could check in an hour early but our room was actually not ready until 30 minutes after check in time. Cheyenne (I think that was her name) was our saving grace. She did get us settled into a room, was very apologetic and tried really hard to make things right. The room was not clean. There was black scum stuck to the entire bathroom sink. We had to buy water for tooth brushing because the sink was so filthy. The shower had black mold in the corners, globs of hair stuck to the shampoo/body wash and a slimy film on everything. We had to wear shoes in the shower to keep our feet away from the slime and mold. The water does not get hot, only lukewarm and the shower handle literally broke off in my husband's hand. We had to have maintenance in to fix it while we were trying to get ready for an event. Pillows and beds were covered in hair that was not ours and the sheets were soiled. Sleeping was impossible since the beds were gross. The carpets in this place are warped and dirty, especially in the hallway. The whole place is very run down and in need of cleaning. This was one of the most uncomfortable stays I have ever had at a hotel. While I appreciate the efforts of the young lady who helped us, I would not stay here again and I wouldn't recommend anybody else book this place either.
