I’ve been coming to Watershed for years now. I literally remember being on the waiting list for it before it even opened, as I was excited about it opening since we have desperately needed a space like this in the Twin Cities. My experience has been mostly consistent every time — predictably relaxing, calming, and beautiful. I mostly come (and keep coming) for the bathhouse experience solo, but I’ve come with loved ones, too. I’ve also experienced the scrub and sugaring hair removal. Pro tips for getting an appointment: plan ahead. But, if you’re booking solo and looking to book the bath house I have often called and gotten a spot that was due to someone’s last minute cancellation within 48 hours. My friends always say I have a gift for getting last minute spots here, but that’s my little hack ❤️ Bring your own swimsuit for the bathhouse, or they will provide you with a very nice rental. Try the tea in the lobby! Thank me later.

The bath house experience was one of the most restorative activities I’ve experienced this year! It absolutely exceeded my expectations. The entire space was very peaceful and welcoming. I reached a meditative state going through the cycle of warm pool, steam room, cold plunge, and sauna. I also enjoyed the meditation room.

I was a member here for their first year. While I initially gave them 4 stars for the first six months, my experience plummeted to 1 star as management’s priorities shifted. Early on, I was patient with facility issues, such as the cold plunge being broken for months. However, the atmosphere quickly deteriorated as they prioritized profit over the member experience. The facility became severely overcrowded, and the quiet environment I originally signed up for was lost to constant chatter and a disregard for the rules that were no longer being enforced. Not what I signed up for - bound by contract for a service that is no longer being provided. My biggest issue is with management’s integrity. When sold on a membership - I was promised that I could pause my membership for an upcoming medicial procedure, but that promise was broken. I was forced to pay nearly $600 for two months I couldn't even use. Furthermore, the facility’s hygiene has declined significantly—I saw mice in the quiet room, mold in the corners, and the bathrooms were frequently out of order. To make matters worse, after a blissful service I was literally CHASED out by soliciting for gratuity, despite having already left a cash tip - which even if I had not - that would have been MY CHOICE. This interaction was unprofessional and aggressive. After a year of giving this business grace, I feel misled and mistreated. I cannot recommend a business that prioritizes sales over empathy, integrity, hygiene, and respect for its members. The intention of a thing is always pure but when a business is willing to etch away at their foundation it is bound to collapse - and that's heartbreaking. This place was special to me. I was healing here. I would have been a patron for life. Until the greed of it all made me feel unwelcome, unsafe & unable to "shed".

What an incredible experience. I've been to spas and had massages but I have never felt more relaxed and calm than after my experience at Watershed. Going through the spaces of the bathhouse with intention I was able to truly get the most out of the experience. I will recommend to everyone!

I frequent Korean spas in LA, and I’ve wanted to find a spot in Minneapolis to escape to when I come back home to visit. Watershed blew my expectations out of the water - so clean, peaceful, and dare I say better than the K spa experience. The low lighting, soothing music and ambience, and rest area make the experience stellar. So much so, that I have already booked another appointment. I would love the option to purchase more time/have a day pass so I can spend more time there. Bodies of all sizes and abilities, serene vibes, I really am impressed.
