  This location was a nice surprise and what a beautiful location and added facilities. One could just stay on the grounds with the lake view and be content with walking paths and benches in the right spots. The planners for this site did a great job. Two pools and hot tubs (indoor and outdoor) kept the kids occupied with walk up bar for drinks and really good food options. They could use some extra sunning chairs but they did have other seating options. Shuffleboard, cornhole, supervised chess board also was a delight. Staff were fantastic and really made us feel welcomed. Besides the pool snacking, we only had breakfast here and that was buffet style with a variety of good eats. They also serve dinner here. Our room was cozy and the cheapest available so fairly typical. Right next door to the lodge is the Lake Erie Canopy Tours which my 6 and 9 year old girls loved. There are two courses with second for adults plus zip lining. We meant to do more in town but the girls loved the pools and other activities that we just stayed put in the lodge. Definitely will be back when the girls are older.

  The lodge is a special place with beautiful views. Veronica and her team made our wedding day stress free. Veronica goes above and beyond way past her job description to ensure you and your loved ones have a seamless day without lifting a finger. They pull details together better than I could have imagined. Our guests are continuing to talk about the good food and many are planning to go back for a weekend getaway. 10/10 recommend getting married at the Lodge at Geneva on the Lake— you won’t regret a second.

  I stayed at this hotel recently, and the location was absolutely beautiful view of Lake Erie. The service was great especially the front desk staff, who were very polite. We did request an early check-in, but unfortunately, it wasn’t possible. The downside was that the room really needed updating. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable, and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been there was visible dirt around the base of the tub. While the location was beautiful, the room felt like stepping into an older hotel that could really benefit from updating and refreshing. I also ordered a cheese and fruit plate for a surprise 50th birthday but it was a huge letdown $18 for just a small handful of cheese, a few crackers, and a bit of fruit. Additionally, the bar area was very understaffed; we waited about 15 to 20 minutes just to get a drink. Overall I hope hotel management takes steps to improve housekeeping standards through additional training and more thorough room inspections, as there's definitely room for improvement in that area. Paying over $300 definitely did not meet my expectations! The grounds and the views of Lake Erie are absolutely beautiful. If the inside of the hotel matched the beauty of the property and the level of the scenery, it would be an exceptional place to stay.

  Absolutely loved our experience. From the reservation process to the check out, everything was fantastic. Our room was more than clean with plenty of towels and toiletries. The restaurant was so relaxing with great food and a beautiful view of the lake. The server was especially thoughful and kind accommodating our every request. We look forward to coming back. Only surprise was the town was basically closed down. Would recomend going into Geneva to eat or go shopping if you're there during the week or off season.

  My husband and I had a wonderful time for our first visit to The Lodge. Service was excellent and the room clean and spacious! We went on their wine tour shuttle and Mary was delightful as our driver. She was knowledgeable of the area and the wineries we were going to. She even let us try to see the train Big Boy as it was supposed to be passing by. We will be coming again!
