  In March 2026, we visited the Mountain America Exposition Center, slso known as the Sandy Expo Center, in Sandy, Utah. While at the Sandy Expo Center, we saw the Salt Lake Home & Garden Show. There were colorful many vendors booths, covering everything from plumbing replacement, message chairs, hot tubs, to dog training. The Sandy Expo Center is a clean and well-maintained venue for these types of vendor booth shows. We enjoyed our visit there.

  We’ve visited Mountain America Expo Center (formerly Sandy Expo Center) dozens of time; we’ve vended here as ‘vendors’ for spring/summer and Christmas Holiday Market events multiple times through the years and as spectators. We have a wise view as guests and seasonal merchants. Cleanness of facility: 5 stars Parking: 4 (The Expo Center has potential for further parking expansion on existing ‘dead space’, but it depends on city approvals/demands. The Expo Center’s arena has close b Trax light rail that offers public transit to also reduce car dependency. New constructions-regulatory, city approval/zoning is the biggest part of the hurdle to expand parking. Currently, 1,700 parking stalls. Exhibit Halls: 5 (The building is big and it can offer multiple exhibitions within different exhibit hall spaces; depending on the events, if the exhibit requires a full platform and taken over all exhibitions or partial rental of the exhibit. A total of 5 divisible exhibit halls. Lighting: 5 Food Concessions: 4 the building space has just enough accommodations for food courts/stations. Sufficient for what are needed to offer food/drinks to families and guests (no outside food-drinks to the expo center). Bathrooms: There are restrooms that are conveniently located within the exhibit halls. The bathrooms/sinks/floors are clean and are regularly sanitized by housekeeping. No matter which events are held at the Mountain America Expo Center, it’s an enjoyable visit of the times we’ve visited as guests, and when vending at the Expo Center. The Expo Center is huge, be sure to keep your young children close at heart, not to get separated or lost children while visiting the center. Children should not wander during the visit on their own/should be within their parents’ guidance and parental directions. Whether it’s Valentine’s Day exhibition, Mother’s Day events, Home-Garden shows, Salt Lake Family Holiday Christmas Market, etc, The Expo Center hosts various events throughout the year and it’s enjoyable to visit. For travelers, if you have time and certain events attract your interest, visiting the Expo Center is a must just so you gain a higher level of experience. Purchase your tickets in advance or a few days before the events, whether on the event organizer's online website or on the day of the event (at times, if purchased on the event organizer's website, you might get a small discount. *** On the day of the event, it is almost a full fee, no discounts are offered. At some events (annual Utah International Auto Show) senior tickets are discounted when ordering online (2026 Utah Auto International Show - adult ticket $18, seniors 62+ is $8). 2026 Annual AutoRama Show (3/27 - 3/29) a three-day car event; adult ticket $28, senior ticket is also $28 (** you can get $2 off...... 3 weeks prior to show dates at O'Reilly Auto Parts stores, adult ticket will then be $26, children 6-12 is $7). Children ages 6-12 ticket $8. Children 5 and under, free. The Expo Center is suitable for all ages, young and old. You can easily spend a few hours here and have a good time with friends/family.

  It is always so fun coming here. But I have some concerns. Like traffic at highly populated events. I also think they need more parking. A little bit faster entering events would be good. All and all its fun then terrifying trying to leave.

  Arrived at 9:30 for the festival of trees at 10am. Plenty of parking if you get there earlier in the morning. Loved the festival and think the venue is good!
