The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very welcoming. A special thank you to Mr. Olawole, the supervisor, for his excellent hospitality and outstanding customer service. He was attentive, respectful, and made sure everything went smoothly during my stay. His professionalism truly made a positive difference and added to the great experience. I would definitely recommend the American Grand Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a pleasant stay.
Shelby Guy3 weeks agoThe build quality of this hotel is insane! We really appreciated the attention to detail. We were on our honeymoon and they made it so special with tasty treats! Would absolutely go back, it was so worth it We walked to the Bayou restaurant, it’s close and the food was so good The pools were amazing, the food was amazing, the staff was so kind, and there’s a toy store in there that is so cool Our only note is that some of the giant vases around the hotel were not centered on the tables and our ocd brains couldn’t handle it

The Grand America Hotel does not simply stand out; it sets an entirely new benchmark for luxury hospitality. Every element of this estate is intentionally curated for the guest, and the execution is flawless. The customer service here is absolute top-shelf. From the moment you arrive, the front desk clerks provide an amazing, seamless welcome, establishing an atmosphere of refined professionalism. That level of excellence extends directly to the room operations; the housekeeping staff is spectacular, maintaining the accommodations to an immaculate, pristine standard throughout the stay. For wellness and recreation, the fitness facilities are a revelation. It is quite simply the largest, most comprehensively equipped fitness room I have ever encountered in a hotel globally. However, the definitive crown jewel of the experience is the afternoon high tea. It is an extraordinary, spectacular ritual that no visitor should miss. The service, the presentation, and the breathtaking surroundings combine to create something magical. When an estate achieves this level of harmony between its staff, its amenities, and its atmosphere, it ceases to be just a hotel—it becomes an experience. A magnificent property that genuinely cares for its guests and delivers on every promise.
cniss1a week agoIf you're going to splurge on accommodation in SLC, splurge here. The lobby alone is worth walking through even if you're not a guest — the scale and opulence are genuinely impressive. Rooms are huge, service is exceptional, and the Sunday brunch is a proper SLC institution. The pool is beautiful. Location is central and walkable to tons of things. For a special occasion, it's hard to imagine doing better in Utah.
J G3 months agoWonderful all around. Tremendous service across the property, from the valet to the front desk and staff at the restaurants and bar. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with more of a 90s lux feel, but it totally works. The lobby and bar area are absolutely stunning. Love staying here to ski and picking my mountain to drive 45 mins to each morning.
