I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding there, and the entire property offered such a romantic, classic backdrop for the day. The grounds are gorgeous for portraits, with so much greenery, open space, and natural charm. It is one of those venues that gives couples a lot of variety without having to go far, which makes the photography timeline feel easy and relaxed. The architecture and outdoor areas work so well together, creating a timeless feel throughout the gallery. As a wedding photographer, I really appreciated how effortlessly the venue photographed. The space felt elegant without being too formal, and the scenery added so much beauty to both the candid moments and the portraits. I would absolutely recommend Manakiki Golf Course to couples looking for a wedding venue with classic charm, beautiful grounds, and a relaxed, romantic atmosphere.

From start to finish, their team delivered a level of professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail that truly set them apart. The grounds were breathtaking — lush, beautifully maintained, and the perfect backdrop for photos. The indoor spaces were elegant and welcoming, giving us the ideal blend of charm and sophistication. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, organized, and genuinely invested in making the day special. What impressed me most was how smoothly everything ran. The team anticipated needs before we even voiced them, coordinated seamlessly with our vendors, and made sure our family could simply enjoy the celebration. Our guests raved about the setting, the service, and the overall experience. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate such an important day. Brock Lyncha month agoGreat layout, friendly people. Front nine is shorter and tighter, while the back nine opens up a bit with more elevation changes. Conditions are very good for a municipal golf course, greens rolled beautifully. $44 with a cart for Seniors is an excellent value.
Travis Mather2 years agoVery impressive municipal golf course. The layout is challenging, but a lot of fun, and the course is very well maintained. Every hole is unique and the contour of the fairways offer a nice challenge. There’s a good amount of separation between holes, so it doesn’t feel crowded even though they stack up the tee times. Carts are nice, too. Do yourself a favor and grab an Italian Sausage at the turn. One of the best I’ve had.
Dan Pewa year agoPlayed 7/6/25 here for the first time, nearly a 5 hour round. Pace of play was a bit slow. Other than that, course is a 5/5. I work at Avalon lakes currently and this course is in fantastic shape. Greens are rolling great, bunkers are in solid shape. Everything was nice and cut fairways, rough ext. l enjoyed the layout, challenging with blind shots and elevation changes for sure. We had a blast, and I definitely will return to play again. Congrats to the grounds crew for having the course in awesome shape.
