  I recently had an opportunity to host a Kansas City Business Owners social event (KCBOC) at The Jewel Event Space. Several owners and staff were involved in the organization, planning and the event itself. Shout out to Brad, Brad, Megan, Heidi and Justin for the extraordinary service, attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere for our organization. W e were able to host a large private event for approximately 100 attendees, and we could've easily doubled the number of attendees and had more then enough room! Shout out to the entire team at THE JEWEL for a Fabulous Event!

  The Jewel KC has a unique charm and cool vibe, but the ownership/management of the venue is a major letdown. The owners, Brad M and Brad R, seem to prioritized pushing pop-up bars and social media posts over communicating with actual clients. We had planned to host our wedding at the Jewel but when they restaffed in October, it became near impossible to get ahold of anyone at the venue. When we sent emails, it would take several weeks to get a response, if any. The phone number on the website does not work so we could not get ahold of them by phone. At one point we had to show up to their Christmas popup just to get someone to talk to us. When we were there, we were told that they may not be able to accommodate our wedding as promised when we signed our contract. After a couple more weeks of trying to get ahold of ownership to figure out our options, they said that they would refund us the deposit…. But, of course, more weeks go by and they wouldn’t send us our money back. We had to resort to requesting a chargeback through our credit card company. The space itself might fit your needs if you're looking for a unique venue, but be aware that the ownership is not suited to handle weddings or respond to clients in a timely manner. Their priorities for the venue lie elsewhere.

  Fantastic space to book an event with! The owners are super communicative, I had all my questions answered quickly. Very spacious inside, and the staff is well trained. Restrooms are kept clean. Stocked the bar attentive to my party's crowd and their needs. Can't wait to do business with them again!

  We hosted our company holiday party at The Jewel Event Space, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The team was incredibly easy to work with, making the planning process stress-free. The venue itself is stunning, and the decorations exceeded all of my expectations — every detail was beautiful and thoughtfully done. The bartenders were both quick and friendly, keeping the drinks flowing all night without a hitch. Our entire team had an amazing time. I would recommend The Jewel Event Space again and again — truly a top-notch venue!

  I attended their North Pole South Pole pop up event. While everything was beautifully decorated, I believe that it was quite a bit oversold, especially for the price we paid for the experience. Additionally, it's not friendly for disabled people because of all the stairs and sloping entryway to get into the building. It's a beautiful event space, but the stairs would turn me off from returning.
