Amber Dubiel4 weeks agoThe only real positive of this hotel is its location, which is within a short walking distance to Progressive Arena. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was very disappointing. The room was not clean upon arrival and remained unclean even after we requested housekeeping twice. The bathroom showed signs of poor maintenance, including mold and cracks in the shower and a rusted, unclean showerhead. Only two towels were provided at a time regardless of the number of guests. During our stay, only one elevator was operating for the entire hotel due to maintenance, which also impacted staff and guests. Our room required going down several additional stairs with no elevator access, making it difficult to transport luggage. Service was also lacking. Staff were not very helpful or welcoming, and the on-site market was very limited and overpriced. We also experienced a serious issue with valet service, which is not directly part of the hotel but still worth noting. Our vehicle was left unlocked overnight and was broken into, resulting in the loss of over $500 worth of items. Our concerns were not handled in a satisfactory manner, and there was pushback regarding removing related charges from our bill. Overall, while the location is convenient, the condition of the rooms, service quality, and security concerns make this a property we would not choose to stay at again.
Tracy Gracey3 months agoWe were overly satisfied with the stellar customer service we received from desk manager, Julia. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay, including our pets, was seamless and convenient. The room was fairly spacious, clean and tidy. Breakfast was incredible. Not what you would expect from a hotel AT ALL. Cheaper to park in the garage across the street, than to utilize valet parking as they park your car in that garage anyway. Despite being in a cat friendly room, it smelled clean like what you would expect from a normal room. Would definitely stay here again.
December Diva2 months agoAfter an absolute nightmare experience at another Cleveland hotel that left me scrambling with my toddlers after a 12-hour drive, Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown literally saved my trip. I had not been back home in Ohio in 6 years and was in town for my little sister’s graduation. The last thing I needed was more stress. Hotel Indigo delivered in every single way. The cleanliness was impeccable, not a single complaint. The room was spotless, relaxing, and exactly what was advertised. The staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. You could feel the care and professionalism in everything they did. This hotel turned what started as one of the most frustrating travel experiences of my life into a truly memorable trip. My sister’s graduation weekend was saved and I have Hotel Indigo to thank for that. If you are visiting Cleveland, do not hesitate. This is exactly what a hotel experience should feel like. I will absolutely be back.
Katrina Marie N-A3 months agoCame into town for a long weekend to catch a Cleveland Indians game at Progressive Field. Best part of this hotel is its proximity to the ballpark, Rocket Arena (NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and AHL's Cleveland Monsters), and East 4th Street. We checked in on a Friday night and the lady who checked us in was warm and welcoming. The Standard Room (Room 812) was spacious but could be maintained better - there were bit of stains on the wall, dust/vacuum dust on top of the bed, and more lighting would add a better ambience. The pillows were also oddly shaped. We had a nice view of Progress Field - center field (pictured here) as well as Rocket Arena which was down the street of the hotel, so that was nice. There were not enough towels in the bathroom so the next morning we kindly asked front desk (different lady than the one who checked us in) that we get a fresh set, but it did not come until we had to call and ask again. Hotel parking was $50/day with in-and-out privileges which was reasonable. It also pays to be an IHG Member because the prices for non-member pricing/without points felt overpriced. I will say that the reviews made me second guess my choice but it really was not that bad than others' reviews made it seem.
Jean Crescenzi3 months agoOur stay at Hotel Indigo in Cleveland was excellent. We came into town for a Raptors game against the Cavaliers, and the location could not have been better — it’s right across the street from Rocket Arena, which made everything so easy and convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel overall was very nice. The lobby was beautiful, and the whole experience was great from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Hotel Indigo to anyone visiting Cleveland, especially if you’re going to a game or event. It’s also very close to the stadiums, all within easy walking distance.
