Nice, clean hotel at a good price. Room was comfortable and spacious, bathroom was tidy, bed was cozy. Everything functioning and in good shape. Breakfast was impressive! We were quite pleased at the quality and amount of options for food, better than most hotels I've visited. Wonderful lounge and lobby area, very welcoming. Pool was clean and functioning, although beware it is small and not heated. Staff was friendly and helpful, besides the one lady at the front desk when we checked in, she was a little grumpy, otherwise the guys were cheerful and happy. Highway noise a little noticable from our room, but running the fan helped cover that. Overall a great hotel and good experience! I would stay there again in the future.
The breakfast alone is a reason to stay here. You cannot go hungry as they have thought of most anything to eat! The rooms are ok, they dont smell and it's cheery throughout. Sharronda (spelling??) is a GEM. FAIRFIELD TAKE NOTICE of this great employee, she made sure everybody was full and happy!!
Pumpkin and Britnee were helpful and friendly during check in. Now it's day three and housekeeping has not been in our room. Bed hasnt been made, no clean towels, trash cans full, no coffee. Went to front desk and waited. No one there. Called corporate but " their hands are tied" because i dont have the confirmation number that we were never given. Over $1,000 for this? Next time we'll find another hotel. I get better service at RedRoof!! The manager, Amber Wallace, was extremely rude when i requested service that should be normally expected. She said i "attacked " the assistant manager and threatened to throw me out.
I'm really not one to complain but stayed there on 4 /27/26 when power was lost at my house, because of storms. Checked in and front desk man was very rude acting like it was a bother to check me in. Finally checked in and dropped off luggage to the room and went to get dinner. Came back to the room after dinner and the TV wouldn't turn on and called front desk and he told me that he doesn't know what to tell us because the maintenance wasn't there till morning and all rooms in the hotel was sold out for the night. And wouldn't be able to give a discount on room. I would have to talk to management in the morning. However in the morning I just left, and will not stay at this hotel again after the rude treatment I received.
Fairly solid budget hotel overall! The hallways are brightly lit, and the lobby and breakfast areas are nice and open. The first room I got had a super loud air conditioner, but I was able to switch — the second room is much better. But no apologies. That said, a few small things felt off: one lamp didn’t work, and the lighting mix (white light vs yellow light) showed a lack of attention to detail. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note. The room setup itself is nice and makes good use of the space. Definitely decent for the price point, especially if you’re just in town for a quick stay like I was. It’s about 17 minutes from Western Michigan University, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting for anything campus-related. Bonus points for having an indoor pool (open till 11 PM) and a decent 24-hour fitness room — good perks at this price. All in all, a good value stay for a night or two. I have attached a lot of pictures so you can visualize it all.
